Re: The NPC Villian's Awakening

Lance plays the role of a father who is trying hard to "fit in" in his son's badass world. A son … trying hard to 'grow up' his dad from ''your pops'' to "your father"! While Lance was trying every trick in the book to woo his son, getting "father-ified" and ''up his coolness quotient'' his son had already given up on him. Just when the father-son duo hit a deadlock, Lance strikes gold when he designs one hell of a game. Following his son's suggestion, Lance designs an action game where the antagonist is more powerful than the protagonist. The game is well-received on its opening night, but things go wrong when Lucifer stops playing and quits the game in between, only to invite the wrath of Doom, the game's villain who uses an advanced technology to take on physical form. He wants to destroy Lucifer, something only his father, Lance, can prevent from happening. All hell breaks loose when - the game that was meant to be played with… starts playing them… The villains awakening - The next level.

Chapter 2. Lucifer's father?

"You were supposed to write an essay on your father." Mrs Barron said.

Mrs Barron heard no response from Lucifer and continued to ask, "What does your father do?"

"My father?" Lucifer asked in a daze.

Mrs Barron squinted her eyes and asked, "I am sure he's your hero, isn't he?"

"Dad? My hero?" Lucifer scoffed.

"Can't chat now." the phone buzzed quietly with the same message.

"Love you very much, sweety." Suddenly a voice message rang from the phone saying these 5 words.

"Can't chat now." The person driving didn't pick up the phone and left it on do not disturb again.

Allow me to quote my idol:

"Flirting turns the head."

"Eyes on the road instead."

The man got out of his car clumsily. He removed the car keys and twirled them on his forefinger. He strolled into the huge game company.

"Jackie Chan!-" Someone called him.

Jackie Chan again.

I am not Jackie Chan.

Not every Chinese is Jackie Chan.

"Mr. Jackie Chan! Slow down!" The person caught up with the man who just entered the building.

"I just wanted to let you know that your last games flopped, if this game flops...your department will have to be shut down." The man breathed and said.

The man walked into his department hall, "I won't need to get fired anymore. I'll start a restaurant, where you...and you will...be waiters and...Mr. Shawn."

"Hello, Sir Lance." Shawn welcomed.

"And you shall be the main cook, Shawn. Making sushi, Dumplings, Kebabs, Spicy Crayfish.." Lance threw his bag onto a chair.

"Does anyone else have a problem?" Lance sat on his chair and questioned.

"Megan?"

"Alex?"

"Come on? You all are ready to work in a restaurant if our department fails to make a game?" Lance rotated his chair.

"Sir, excuse me, sir." Shawn raised his hand.

"I have a problem, sir."

"What's your problem?" Lance looked at Shawn.

"I can't make Spicy Crayfish..." Shawn avoided eye contact.

"Then spicy noodles?" Lance asked cupping his face with his hands.

"Thank you, sir, I can make that!" Shawn excitedly nodded.

"Good. - I hope you don't mind working harder now, everyone loves crayfish, and you can't make it, what will you do when you leave this job, work harder Shawn~ or make others work harder for you~" Lance teased and got back to labour.
