3rd Person POV

After the demon lord finished his task for the day, he finally managed to make time for one of his researchers who has booked an audience with him.

"Rise." the demon lord ordered once he let everyone else leave the scene

"Sir, we've managed to make one artificial rose that has remained stable for about 9 days as of now." the demon reported

"Why the solemn face? Isn't that great news?"

"Based on the stability sir, the subjects who will be able to help us test the artificial rose are required to be of the 8 star caliber, 7 at least." the demon answered "There's a definite chance that several tries are required for us to even understand what is wrong with what we have.

"And to even ensure that we can get another stable rose would require the sacrifices of about 10 rose or more just for one to succeed in being stabilized, and that would mean it would require a lot of our roses plus the loss of many high caliber mages for it to succeed, 5 years is the most optimal time for all of this sir."

"5 years..." the demon lord sigh "3 years is the most optimal time for our attack, but we won't have a sure victory, 5 years, we're guaranteed stronger power but so will the other side since the heroes grow quick...

"Do it, but I will discuss things with our advisors on our plan, 5 years is a lot of time for the heroes, so we need to eliminate them one by one until then."

Perseus POV

"You humans truly are disgusting." Lilith commented one she finished reading that section of the so called chimera project

"Well, you're not wrong, anyway, that's enough of reading that diary for today, I don't think my head wants to see just how for people will go to achieve something again."

"What are your plans for the coexistence thing?" she asked

"Well I got several, like marrying the 2 goddess but one of them is a sure thing that will easily help bridge the gap between the 2 races."

"And that is...?"

"A common enemy." I answered "This world simply need a common enemy, someone who's strong enough to antagonize both side and also strong enough to force both side to team up. In a world where violence is the only language that can force people to understand, this is the best solution to hasten the process."

"I'm questioning your morals right now, you just said 'I don't think my head wants to see just how for people will go to achieve something again.', aren't you being a hypocrite? I mean, your way of thinking is no better than these...people." she really hesitated to say that last word

"It was just a suggestion."

"And who would the best candidate be in this situation? You?"

"Funnily enough, I am, but it would put my village at risk, if I were to become this common enemy, there's a definite chance of my people being persecuted and killed off after I die when the world unites, it'll become a trolley problem."

"What's a trolley problem?" she asked

Buddy looked confused as well, so I explained it to them.

"The trolley problem is basically a scenario where you either have the choice to save 5 people in danger of being hit by a trolley or divert the trolley to kill just 1 person."

"Wouldn't saving the 1 person be the best option?" Lilith asked

"Then what right do you have to divert the trolley? If you let the trolley go where it's supposed to, you'd just be an onlooker, you wouldn't be guilty of intentionally killing that one person on the other rail."

I then explained the basics of it, I remember having an ethics course and this was brought up, so I just repeated what I can remember.

"Hmm, so in this situation..." Lilith thought aloud "It's either you let the world continue the way it's going and the 2 race clash as you clean up both sides or you stop it from ever happening at the cost of much lesser people whom are your family and friends, that is indeed a hard situation."

"Well I'm only the best candidate for it, but I wouldn't put myself in that position, I got too much to lose, so I'll just go the route of cleaning everything up while bearing a lot of hate, but I'll at least guarantee that no one else will have to die afterwards."

"A bit of a selfish choice." she commented

"I know, but I'm going to look out for myself, I don't want to die an early death twice. And once things settle down, I'll go back to my own world and do what I've been waiting to do."

"You'll become a person who are no better than the ones who did all that thing to you."

"I know, I don't care if I stoop down to their level, I don't care how many excuses I come up with to defend myself, but I've already set my mind to do it. Those people are continuing to live normally knowing what they did, so I plan to give them what they deserve in a long time."

Lilith POV

Perseus truly is the most unique summoned person from the other world, even amongst the current heroes, they don't possess these weird abilities and they definitely don't think like the way he does.

Is he a hero of good? Is he an evil who deserve to be eliminated? It is all hard to say for a goddess who've seen it all.

And what he did earlier against that knight was something that can't be described, a 4 star mage standing up to a 10 star knight that easily eliminated 8 star mages...I can tell that right now he's on the border to the 5 star after that fight, but still, he's strong, and that mentality helps in his decision.

He isn't scared to kill, that's what the heroes lack. The heroes kills demons because they don't consider us equal, but I doubt that they won't hesitate to kill their own, just what did he experience?

Words are truly hard to describe everything a person went through, even Trevor would struggle, considering the story of what he went through hid many things. This diary would contain only about 70% of the whole story.
