Chapter 115: A Way Out (2)

Loki POV

"Shoot yourselves!" I shouted

And 2 of the 3 soldiers pursuing us aimed at their own heads and pulled the trigger, one had their ear plugs on it seems, and got blasted by the 2 women who's leading my escape, they then took ammo from the dead soldiers and we move further in the facility.

With trackers on, they knew where we're are at all times, so no point in stealth and it's not like we're trained soldiers who knows how to do all that complicated tactic anyway.

"Why are we stopping here?!" Alexis hissed "The Apocalypse threat level is that way."

"This sign is fake, I was supposed to come talk to him today, so they took him away from maximum security, so what do we do?! We got a minute at best till we're surrounded and on the other side are armed soldiers and scientists aiming at us."

"Brie." she signaled with her head and Brianna stood to the left of the door while aiming the rifle at the closed door

"Perseus, crouch by the door." Brie ordered as I go to the left and while aiming my gun at the door "I'm gonna open this and Alex's gonna electrocute them while we provide cover."

They both got their ear plugs in and then Brianna used her ability, as we discussed a bit of our ability, hers is that she can temporarily separate things, but it's similar to spatial control, for example, she can separate your head from your body and your head and yet both the body and head will still remain functional while separated.

It's apparently a useful skill for surgeons, kinda also reminds me of this particular surgeon pirate from an anime show who pretty much have the same ability after eating some sort of fruit.

The door then flew smoothly opened and we opened fire.

"Kill each other!" I shouted as I activated my powers

I summon up illusion clones of ourselves and sent the in while Alexis started to crackle up with electricity, once we heard the soldiers fighting each other and no shots are coming out, Alexis run to the front of the door and shot this burst of lightning into the room.

Once she's sure that they're fried, she took out her rifle and start firing at their unconscious to make sure most of them are dead. We got inside and the door reappeared again as if it never got opened. Alexis then use her powers to overload the doors to make sure they remained locked.

"Ok, he's in their and they've activated sleeping gas, but those soldiers got gas mask, damn it." Alexis cursed

"I think I told you before, but he's given up on this escaping thing."

"Just shut up, and stand still, we'll remove the chip, we got 20 minutes till they burst that door down and to convince Lucifer to come with us to escape."

As my body part separated, Alexis used her powers to trace every tracking device in my body and the 2 women helped got them out of me before performing the procedure on each other, we feel a slight bruise and sore at where the tracking device was once removed, but no time to think about it as we then did the same routine of busting the door open and forcing the soldiers to kill each other with my ability as a distraction.

They were geared to take down Lucifer and protect the team from most scenarios, but not my ability of making people do things against their own will, at least they weren't prepared to, even though they knew I was supposed to come today, they should have the equipment to counter my abilities fully, but once they heard that there are escapees other escapees, they changed some gears, allowing me to get through to a couple, just enough for Alexis to take them down and finish them off.

We then go in and freed Lucifer from his bonds and he woke up once we removed the 10 tracking devices in his body.

"No no no no NO!" he start tearing up "I'm not doing this again!"

"Look, one last chance, 4 people, smaller team and this time, we got n tracking device and our abilities are useful to live in hiding till we find safety." Alexis countered

"And go where? Hm? About half the world is after our ass and the other don't give a fuck about our suffering, they'd rather we die."

"Switzerland, Iceland, Greenland, Singapore...there are countries out there that will ensure our safety!"

"Singapore?! No! Too small, they got laws, sure, but not powerful enough to ensure abduction again. Switzerland is the only place in this world in which they will grant people like us protection."

"Then we'll go there! And with their citizenship and us reporting what happened, we can help save the rest."

"How?! Tell me how?!" Lucifer screamed "We're in the southern ocean, right between Australia and Antarctica! Go Australia, we're back here, go south, we'll also end back here, what's better than just killing ourselves right now?!"

"Only less than half the government bodies are in on this, we've got a chance to blow all this up, get that in your head already!" Alexis shouted back "You seriously want to just sit back and let them kill you, I've heard the plans about you, you're going to be killed in 2 years at best!"

"You? You in on this too?!" Lucifer turned to me "You're like 11! Hell, you don't even properly know how old you are! What can you do?!"

"Last try, if I get caught, they'll promise to kill me first."

"Are they even trustworthy?!"

"They haven't lied so far, so yes."

"Fuck! Just go on without me!"

"Look, I know you're a fucking worthless piece of shit." Brianna spoke up "But we're going to need your abilities if we're going get out of here safely and get to Australia for temporary hiding as we move north! Just think of this as a last chance! We got guns, get caught and we'll kill ourselves, simple as that!"

"Fine, once, and this time, I'm dying for good." Lucifer retorted
