-3 Months Later

Ash was punching and kicking Sin as hard as he could.

And Sin's role was to guard and dodge the barrage of attacks until his chakra layer wears off.

"That's enough for today," said Ash.

Sin collapsed with a smile. In the past 3 months, Sin was beaten up with no retaliation every day. But his chakra gave him a high pain tolerance and a healing factor, which made him able to take more punishment.

"Pffft!" laughed Ash.

"W-what!?" asked a surprised Sin.

"I just found it funny how you said, " I want to learn the serious stuff" with a swollen face," said Ash while trying to hold back his laughter.

"Hahaha" laughed Sin, but inside he was imagining how much he will enjoy torturing this drill instructor from hell.

"I think you're ready" Ash stopped laughing and said seriously.

"Hm?" said Sin.

"Tomorrow we will start training martial arts, the 6 powers and... Haki" said Ash.

"!!!" Sin

"I was taught martial arts and 6 powers by your father's bodyguard, as for Haki I only know how to train it the basics," said Ash.

1 year since Sin and Ash started training, the two changed, Sin is no longer a frail sickly kid instead, a powerful fighter and devil fruit user even in the grand line.

He also developed another devil fruit ability, it was when he tried to focus chakra in his eyes... His eyes turned red with three dots around the pupil of each eye, he was shocked by how much his vision improved, when Ash described his eyes, he screamed 'Sharingan!' mentally.

Thanks to the Sharingan he was able to learn from just watching Ash use them, he learned Soru that gave him a Burst of incredible speed that can resemble teleportation, Skywalk the Ability to fly by kicking the air, Rankyaku to create slicing winds from kicks, and Shigan or Finger pistols to pierce an opponent like a bullet with just a finger, Kami-e that makes the user's body go limp and float like a piece of paper and lastly Tekkai the ability to make oneself solid enough to resemble iron.

Ash was also shocked when he found out that Sin can mimic moves by just seeing them once.

Using his sharingan Sin was able to learn martial arts from Ash by just watching him.

As for Haki, both Sin and Ash weren't lucky.

2 years of sleeping, eating, training, and fighting, the duo moved to the center of the island where the most dangerous beasts stalk their preys at night, and they slept in the open, to sharpen their senses.

Sin created a chakra blade on his hand, and skillfully cut his long hair down to his neck, he then he smoothly moved the pale blue chakra blade to his face and neck.

1 year before the plot, Sin and Ash were already strong enough to fight and win against vice-admirals, now they both could be considered beginner haki users, both Ash and Sin now are able to use observation and armament haki, Sin even surpassed Ash in haki by learning the conquerors haki.
