The Ebony Warrior

Waking up I see myself in a dark gritty damp dungeon. As I look at my arms I see that they are chained up to the ceiling. Feeling myself swing I notice my body is above the ground. How did I even get here? My whole body is cut up and bleeding and all beat up. Looking forward I see a gate with a lock on it. Crap looks like I'm stuck here. Before I even get a chance to think about how to escape I hear heavy footsteps getting closer and closer. This isn't good it must be the person or thing that trapped me here for whatever reason. My heart is thumping hard and fast with each passing second sweat is dripping down my face plopping into a puddle of grime and water on the stone floor.

After what feels like an eternity the footsteps stop and in front of me I see a shadowy figure looking around 8 feet tall. Slowly the gate opens with a loud creak scraping the floor with sparks flying around. Those quick sparks let me see a slight glimpse of the figure. Not really able to make out what I see all I can make out is its long skinny clammy hands with red claws. It seems like it's holding something in its hand possibly a rusty sword. Once I hear the scraping sound stop the figure stands still for a few seconds. Then out of nowhere the figure runs towards me with the sword scrapping on the floor with sparks flying everywhere. With one hand it lifts its sword into the air and swings it towards my shoulder. It connects and cleaves deep ripping through my skin and muscles with only the bone stopping it. Blood starts spurting all over my face and on the figure.

"AHHGHHHHHHHH!!!! AGHHHHHH!!! DAMNN IT!!!! AGHHH!!!", I let out a bloodcurdling scream.

With all the blood pulsing out of my body, I start to convulse and vomit. Slowly my vision grows darker and darker as the pain consumes my body. I let the darkness take me as I pass out.

Slowly I open my eyes and I find myself looking up at the ceiling. Huh? Am I in the same place as before? Why is there a huge hole in the ceiling? Before I even get an answer I see a figure in an ebony armor kneeling over me. The person picks me up and looks at me.

"I killed the Molarg for you."

"Arghh thank you so much.", I look over at my shoulder to make sure it's still there.

"Don't worry I patched you up but we still need to go to a healer to heal you up."

"Thank you so much."

"Close your eyes and rest for now. I'll take us both back to Tenebris where you can get some help."

I fall asleep with all I hear is the sound of the armor clanking around with each step. How did I even get myself in this situation? Why didn't I listen to the Guild Lord he told me I was too weak for this quest. I wonder who this person is I never once saw an armor in ebony before. It's supposed to be a very rare material. Anyways for now I need to rest and figure what to do from there.
