Chapter 6: Meeting Another Friend

Last night was quite... awful. When a mission was completed, all of the enemies would disappear from the vicinity, and that would be quite an insurance that I would be able to retrieve my Oracle safely. However, sleeping inside that car was another matter.

Even though based on the expensive BMW, it was still a car, and sleeping in a car wouldn't be as good as sleeping inside of a bed. My body was all stiff and my joint felt like a rusting joint at this point. Well, whatever, it was not like it would last long. It wouldn't be long until I got enough money to buy or purchase a low-end apartment that cost a shitton in here.

I parked my Ubermacht Oracle in front of Lamar's house, right next to Franklin's old house. It should be remembered that the event of GTA:O was way before GTA V which meant Franklin was still working with Simeon or gangbanging with Lamar.

Eventually, the two people came, but not from Lamar's house. They came from Franklin's house. Lamar was wearing green shorts alongside with black t-shirt and a green cap. Meanwhile, Franklin was wearing the usual flannel shirt alongside his ordinary pants.

"Shit, man, why did you bring another dude on this one?" Franklin immediately protested.

"Listen, this dude's real deal, he'll do the job perfectly," Lamar said.

"Yeah, as real as your punk ass bullshit," Franklin commented.

"C'mon man, give this dude a chance," Lamar said.

"Alright, alright, I'm just kiddin'."

Well, I wouldn't say that was an underestimation, but knowing Lamar, I would probably react the same way as Franklin did. Anyway, just stealing a car, right? There wasn't anything hard in that to be entirely honest.

"Anyway, what's your name?" Franklin asked me as he gave me a car key.

"Name's Archer, how about you?"

"Name's Franklin, nice to see you," Franklin said. "Listen, I know this crazy ass fool hasn't given you the details. So, here it is. We are going to repo three cars. Lamar and I are going to repo the car in Alta Street while you need to go to Murietta Heights warehouse district. There's a Feltzer that needs to be repossessed, you get what I mean?" Franklin showed me a picture of the car.

The car was a black Feltzer. Feltzer itself was a two-door sports car based on Mercedez Benz SL65. It was one of the fast cars in the game, and quite popular due to its high spawn rate in Rockford Hills. However, performance-wise, it was mediocre.

The car was parked right beside a warehouse complex. Yeah, it was around Murietta Heights, judging from the warehouse location which was behind a gas station. It wasn't far, and it was not a gang-infested area either. This would be quite easy.

"Oh yeah, are we going to blam-blam some fools?" Lamar asked.

"Chill out, dog. We are just going to repossess their car, not kill some dudes. Anyway, Archer, good luck," Franklin said.

"Yeah, thanks."

"So, Frank, where the fuck is your car?"

"Motherfucker, you told us to walk here," Franklin said.

I giggled slowly as I entered my car. An objective blip appeared on my mini-map.

▌Go To Murietta Heights▐

I didn't know what I would face in the warehouse district in Murietta Heights, but back then, I remembered that some lost MC or Vagos could be seen roaming the area, making the area dangerous to fire a gun.

In GTA:O, if you fired a gun in gang territory, all of a sudden, the whole map became riddled with small red circles indicating enemies and everyone started shooting at you for some unknown reason just because you started firing a single bullet in their territory.

Still, it could be a lot of fun if you used a tank to shoot back at them, but at the risk of having the police come very hard at you. In GTA, a mere pistol and SMG round would be capable of destroying a tank somehow. In the real world, it worked very very differently as far as I knew.

To go to El Burro heights, I must go through several streets first before arriving at the location. I followed the GPS route on the map. Eventually, after driving for three minutes or so, I finally arrived at the car.

As expected, the black car was parked inside a parking spot in that warehouse. It looked like nothing was out of the ordinary on that car, this was too easy, even on my standard. I feared that I would be jinxed.

I entered the car on my own. The car was not locked, which was expected from this world. I put the car key on the dashboard of the car. I started the engine of the car and the next thing I heard was a loud police siren blaring from left and right.

☆☆☆☆

Four-stars wanted level. The cops were watching this car and they already guess that the car would be stolen. And bloody hell, whose car was this that attract the attention of the fucking SWAT team?

I hit the gas as hard as I could as the next objective appeared. The next objective was so general, and yet, quite possibly hard to do inside of a Benefactor Feltzer.

▌Lose the cops▐

"Los Santos PD! Get out of the car!"

I heard a police chopper right above my head. Why would they send a police chopper for a mere car, for fuck sake? I hit the gas as hard as I could and get out of Murietta Height with cops on my tails.

The cops showed on the mini-map a circle that flashed between red and blue. To lose them, I must get out of their sight, which was quite difficult with a helicopter on my tail. And no, shooting the helicopter out of the sky wasn't an option.

"PULL OVER PUNK!" The police car chasing me used the speaker to shout at me.

Looking at the mirror of the car, the police car was a NOOSE/SWAT Granger accompanied by two NOOSE officers hanging on its side, shooting pistols at the window of the car. Bloody hell, they only wanted to kill me.

I couldn't think of how to escape the police safely, but I knew a possible place. I got down to the Los Santos river aka the storm drain. The police helicopter kept chasing me, but I knew where to go. There would be a tunnel at the end of the sewer that would lead straight to the exit.

The car jumped off the road and entered the storm drain. The police didn't follow me from behind, perhaps that was how the A.I was programmed, however, the police helicopter kept chasing me from behind.

Loud banging came from the roof of my car. The NOOSEs on the police helicopter started shooting at the car with a carbine rifle. What this car was used for that it came under very heavy police surveillance?

"You can't run asshole!" The police helicopter shouted at me.

Eventually, I reached the tunnel at the end of the storm drain and entered it. The police didn't follow me, and the starts indicating my wanted level began to flash as the cops lost sight of me.

I kept driving down the dark tunnel with the sports car. The stars flashed faster and faster. This was the surest way of losing a wanted level, to be entirely honest. After the wanted level disappeared, I immediately got a call from Lamar.

"Yo, dog, how did it go?" Lamar asked.

"Motherfucker, why the fuck did the whole NOOSE team come after me?" I protested to the clueless Lamar.

"NOOSE? The popo is coming after you?" Lamar commented.

"Was. Anyway, I'm in the clear now. Should I return to Simeon?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah, shit, what a poor ass luck you have there," Lamar closed the phone with that weird closing statement which somehow I disliked. Still, there might be something inside of the car that became an item of interest for the police.

I stopped the car in the middle of the sewer tunnel and checked on its condition. The back glass was out of the question since it was gone from the number of gunshots the police gave to the car. The trunk's door was filled with bullet holes.

"Shit, man, what the hell is inside of this shit?" I asked myself as I opened the trunk.

The answer came quickly in the form of boxy packages with small traces of white powder on them. I put my finger on the white powder and licked it with my tongue. My tongue felt numb, a regular wheat flour wouldn't do that.

This thing was grade A South American Produce. No wonder the NOOSE team kept an eye on it. Well, this was my win, I guess? Where should I stash this thing, though? I doubted that keeping this much coke inside of the wrecked car would be a good idea.

Still, I got an idea.

Please don't forget to vote for the book with power stones, thanks.
