What's happening
What was happening before their eyes was unpredicted, one could have said unimaginable but this world is a cultivation oriented world after all where people have the strength to do extraordinary things like controlling the elements and cutting down mountains with just their swords and fall down tall trees with just their bare hands.
It was unpredicted because no one could have thought that the city mayor will possess such powers to defend himself when he wasn't even looking.

As they stared, they saw that the leader stopped shivering and foam stopped coming out from his mouth, they sighed in relief as they saw their leader staggering up with wide eyes that was red and face that was pale.
