Thanks to him obtaining the very first legendary item in the game, he was now a marked man, relentlessly pursued by players across all kingdoms.

Kaden expected as much but he did not think that it would happen so soon. Who the heck even had the resources to come after him like this?

All the guilds combined together to hunt him down? That was a joke. No one was foolish enough to do this in the early stages of the game.

  This meant that one big guild was hunting him down. Who were these bastards? How were they doing it before the currency exchange opened up?

The bounty system in 'Apocalypse Online' was its most irritating feature, purely present to fuel the PVP fire inside the game.

A bounty could only be issued when a player was killed by another player and it was an expensive endeavor.
