Chapter 58__We are fans
Douglas came home looking down. He entered the living room and met Louis reading a news paper.
"I'm home"
Louis could tell he is not in a good mood. His voice is kind of dull.
"Why are you so down? Is work hectic today?", he asked.
Douglas threw himself on a armchair.
" It's all for the best anyway. After all, my brother in law said I could work in H&D. It is just that I don't want to just leave. Now that I'm fired, what more? I will just go to join my big bro company "
Louis watched him rambling on and got the point.
"So you're fired? You were misbehaving because you have another alternative and they fired you. And you think I will allow you to take Ray's offer. Didn't you know the right attitudes to work?", Louis asked.
" Dad, I really didn't do anything wrong. They just decided to fire me. I really did nothing wrong if you will really believe me."
Louis sigh.
Obviously, he didn't believe the boy.
'Is it possible to just fire someone without any excuse? "
But he just let him be.
Douglas switched on his phone.
He wanted to tell Ashley that he just lost his job. By the time he start working at his brother in law's company, he is going to tell her that he's got a knew job and she will be able to tell how capable he is.
Just as he turned on the phone, notification started streaming in. He saw one headline that caught his attention.

When he saw the article, he shivered. The comments were frightening.
"Why did they bring down the first article. We have the picture save on our phone already, Hahaha."
"It's probably Rays entertainment thar brought it down"

"I used to like Dorris, who knew she is so covetous"
"I don't like her from the onset. She is a good example of holier than thou personalty"

"Let's just show our disapproval by dealing with Dorris."
Douglas felt goose bumps reading all this comment. But Ray is no more an artiste! Why are they like this? Dorris must be so frightened.
He sent her a text message.
Ray called Jerome number again.
"What's happening? I thought I ask you to put out all the articles!", Ray asked.
" We did but someone put it up again. I'm sure this is not done by the reporters alone. There is someone behind the scene", Jerome said.
"I thought as much. Tell that person to continue investigating. Pls bring down those articles again.", Ray said over the phone.
" Yes sir",
Ray dropped the call to look at Dorris.
She was staring back at him.
"It's a okay", he told her.
Her manager had asked her to stay in.
" Everything will be resolve soon. Don't worry", he told her
Dorris just nodded her hair repeatedly.
