Intense triggers

Jay tried to unsuccessfully pull free Ace's hands without much effort but only a gesture. As a result, he pulled them abnormally closer, completely locking them. No way in hell she can match with him in total physical strength. Her hand defeatedly dropped, as another maintained its place over Ace's. A sigh escaped her mouth, and an evil smirk crept its way to victory behind her.

"You ignored every little chance I tried offering", Ace's voice deeper and right behind her ears," You think I won't notice?".

"I didn't know you were acquainted with Travis", Jay spoke in her defense," Not once I met him after I met you".

"That fucktard comes in the scenery with no news. Don't pretend to be ignorant towards what I'm pointing at"

"...the scars?"

"Hm....and?"

"Bruises?"

"....and?"

"What else?"

"Drugs!"

"Ah right! Dosages of morphine and some other shit …...maybe"

"Morphine?!?!? And other shit, what??!"

"Well, I'm not that sure...."

"Jay!!!"

"Why?"

Ace turned Jay with a swift movement of his hands, facing her too close to almost penetrate her eyes with his. They were devoid of all affection or humor, only filled with a strange form of concern mixed with, anger perhaps. The frown on his temple speaks it all otherwise. He was not entertaining it anyway possible.

Jay's face was too close to his. His glare was too powerful to compete with, yet she had maintained it up to the level without any challenge though. But the extreme lack of space between them, was what making her cheeks warm. Heat rushing to them with an incredible pace, reddening them. Ace's intensity wasn't complimenting the situation any good, making her nervous.

"Jay…...", Ace started to speak in a serious manner, holding her shoulders firm," .... How many shots per trigger?".

"Uh...2, Seldom perhaps 3 sometimes? Depended"

"On what? Your choice, or your requirements?"

"Can't recall, I stay void of senses. But sometimes on the fact if I can pay for it since it's costly, or if they have it in stock, or based on their mood"

"They?", Ace grew darker as he listened with his bottom drop patience.

"Travis's friends", Jay replied honestly.

In an instant, a not so safe smile walked its place up all over Ace's face. The grin was somewhat can be called really full of creep. His gaze shifted from Jay and fell down, his pupils invisible and only the lashes flickering. The next time he looked up, his hands dropped from Jay's shoulders as he let out a pretty hoarse broken chuckle. Cocking his head sideways like with a broken nape, and arching up an eyebrow to add to it, he spoke.

"Friends ...of that motherfucking bitch? They BEAT you?", he asked with a strange calmness.

"Travis didn't. He never touched me, the others did. But they listened to him whenever he asked to stop. Just during hit ups, he stepped in".

"How can I get loose, the fucker's undying habit to keep clean!"

"I had asked for it Ace, I had nothing to relief upon. I wanted it, in my full consent", Jay knew she was lying in a part, but she had to continue.

"Edrei, would have your age if alive. You know what, I'm so glad she's not. She would die anyways watching her failure of a sibling hitting up minors with doses!"

"Ace, it's not- "

"Did it feel good .... Jay?"

"Ace....?"

"Do you want more?"

"You should stop!"

"Maybe I should get you some, we can get high together right?"

And that's when Jay realized it.

Ace was losing it; he's been triggered for who knows what reason. This conversation isn't letting to a very good outcome. The look in his eyes, speaks it all. It was stark dangerous! He isn't in his right mind. Jay should be escaping but anything to ease him up and try to calm him down. Because, unlike hers, his triggers aren't his weakness.

It's the reason leading to his insanity!!

Skull level insanity, to be precise.

And that mindset, could get her killed…. like others!

"You gonna so regret it when you return to your right mind", she warned to herself.

"WHO do you think pushed me to my limit, huh?? I was under such misconception that you trusted me, guess what? I WAS SO FUCKING WRONG!"

"I trust you Ace, it wasn't just the correct time", Jay tried to sustain her calm," Hell it wasn't even something for you to know, it was my past!".

"Where I was not there, right?", Ace completed wrong, his eyes reflecting craziness. He won't be able to keep it under control for much long. His bridge weakening…

"I think, you should quit it", Jay sighed, hiding her concern.

"So, you can go back to him???", Ace suddenly grabbed Jay's shoulder harshly.

"Doesn't matter if I'm killing my shit off just to find YOU an escape from this fucked up life?", he pressed his nails so hard through her light shirt, that made her hiss out, as she looked at him with flinched eyes.

"How much I try, you would prefer physical tolerance, isn't it?", not removing his glare from Jay, he pushed her with no mercy or limiting his strength.

Jay's back clashed against the wall in a rough manner. She tried soothing her shoulders from the sudden sting of pain when she didn't realize Ace catching her off guard and pushing her off again. When she tried to get away from the wall, another harsh push attacked her and this time keeping in her place without letting her move. Her face scrunched up in a strange kind of suffering, more emotional than physical.

She has no fucking idea how to control Ace!

Those indifferent eyes, is not something she can bring back to life. Unless, she lets him .... kill? Not even a choice!!!

"GET A GRIP BITCH!!!", she cursed in anger, only to receive another painful tug on her shoulders as a response from the face of a complete maniac before her.

"You, don't get to talk to me like that whore!", Ace's voice has gone raspy. Creepily raspy. Startling Jay by his choice of words.

Is this the real Ace?

Is this him before him chronic?

Or is he just viewing her like the others he had murdered?

"Let's test your tolerance, huh Jaylynne shall we??", that name coming out from the mouth of a fully transformed Ace, didn't vibe any good.

With no further warning or alert, Ace straight lunged forward his face towards Jay's neck and bit her with the almost intent to rip her throat off. Immediately the skin pierced and Ace tasted metallic liquid flowing through it in his mouth, whereas he started making a mess out of it thoroughly enjoying himself without any intention to stop any sooner.

Before Jay could even catch up to her immense pain, a choked scream escaped her lips. Her eyes were in full bloom, unable to decipher her situation at all. Her calls for escape went silent ...because after all, it was her saviour, devouring her!

When she had forced her mind back to reality, she could internally feel Ace's canines dug deep through her flesh while he licked her blood and skin drowned in a strange pleasure of his own kind. With every second, he just deepened his mouth through her flesh, earning more choked screams and teary eyes.

She couldn't move. Even without Ace holding her for his ease of contact in her position, she found herself mentally paralysed.

How did it come to this?

They were doing so well …a while ago.

Ace was cuddled against her, showering her with warmth.

That conversation...….

Fucking conversation!!!

Fucking TRAVIS!!!

This…...can't continue. Not now.

Whatever Ace is doing, is not in his right mind. He needs to be stopped before things take a worse turn.

Jay was angry.

She was angry at the very person. But she wanted to bring him back, because she herself didn't want to lose him. He loved her right? So he WILL return to being himself. He has saved her times by then, and he needs someone too this time.

In another second, Jay hissed out rather loudly when Ace pressed his front tooth on her exposed flesh.

That's it!!!".

Breaking free from his grab, she jerked him off of her with everything she could gather. Once relieved from his restrain and his mouth against her neck, she pushed him hard enough to create some distance between them. Ace was so emerged in his time; he couldn't put up much resistance to the sudden interference.

As he looked up with eerily frowned eyes, darkening more at being, an immense swing came at him with a bolting speed and the next thing he felt, was his face fallen to the other side accompanied with a red stinging pain on his cheek.

Not a clue with grasping the situation, he looked up touching the attacked part lightly to find Jay clasping her neck, which was bleeding through her fingers and another hand fallen at a side by slapping him to his senses.

The accidental escaped tears making her face wet, and her weak legs barely keeping her up for the moment. Her clothes a mess, but still......….

.........…no sign of disgust or fear in her eyes!

Ace's eyes were studying her and himself, as he started recalling his actions.

Jay, on the other hand tried to decipher his next move. Clearly the act of a hit right through his cheek when he's at his most vulnerable wasn't the best idea. But it was the only thing she could bring herself up to do in the moment's heat.

There was no visible change in Ace's face, the demon expression still existed. The silence before the storm persisted, as Jay waited.

With no warning, yet AGAIN! Ace launched himself at Jay.

It was blindingly quick for her to escape from his clutches. Bold of her to think that the mere hit could retain his sanity like before.

After all, he's been in the field for a longer duration than her.

"Ace, shit...…", was the only exclamation she could manage when he grabbed her collar of her helpless hurt self.

2 seconds!

She could catch it, when Ace stared for maximum 2 seconds in her eyes with his own blue orbs.

The change...... before Ace slammed his lips against hers with the previous harshness in control. This wasn't any gentle peck or a messy romantic kiss denoting love, it was an expose of pure dominance. Ace practically didn't give a damn and forced his way in to her mouth, entrapping her tongue and restraining her ability of voice. His sharp canines still nipping on the side of her lips as he restricted any passage of air for both of them. He felt her trying to breath in his mouth, but held back rejecting her oxygen. The grazing and perfectly locked pair of lips wasn't providing any feel of relief. He was just relieving his trigger by this method.

Jay's legs gave out.

They wiggled a little before sliding down through the wall, Ace followed her movement not releasing from the rough kiss or her collar. Jay was still clasping on to her neck, the pain growing more. But the impact of the kiss taking over. She was melting in to that very powerful sense of contact. She should have done this instead of the slap.

Ace needed this!

Finally, when Ace decided to pull back, Jay was left a complete blue mess due to deprivation of air and certain injuries.

She was sitting leaning with her back helplessly against the wall, and Ace hovering over her on his knees. His eyes shut tight. The female wheezing and trying to check if the brunette is calm enough to talk. His hands rose, as he engulfed Jay's cheeks in them. The familiar feel of warmth and care returned. Pressing his forehead with hers, he breathed out like a sigh, feeling her irregular breathing and heartbeat. His own wasn't in any better shape either.

Slowly he opened his eyes and matched hers.

Tear stained and bloodshot. Quivering lips and audible heavy release of air.

He shut them back again.

"I'm so sorry ......…."
