Yun Meiyi was pulled out of her trance. She turned to look at the old man and tried to recall from her memory who he could be. But nothing came.
When the man didn't hear her answer, he thought that she might not have understood his words, so he repeated his words along with his hand movements, trying his best to make her understand. "Young girl, have you lost your way back? Never saw you here. Are you looking for someone?"
He asked and suddenly his brows jutted in concern when he saw the hints of tears in her eyes. "You don't have to be afraid. The people in our village are not bad, you are safe. Don't cry. Tell me your problem and I will try to help you."
He said and it was then Yun Meiyi realized that she had tears ready to trickle down her eyes. Reaching out to dab her eyes lightly, she smiled and shook her head. "I am not lost. I just came to revisit the place where I spent a big time of my childhood."
