Confession scene cause, why not?

Jake and Erick walked side by side through the garden. Erick looked distantly at the countless blooming tulips while Jake could only stare at his friend.

"Do you know why I like flowers?" Erick asked.

Jake, looked at Erick's back and answered: "Your father too used to like these flowers, so yo-"

"mhm-" Erick cut him off, shaking his head. "I like them cause they bring me comfort."

Removing a tulip from the bush, he gently grasped it. "When I felt suffocated by the expectations, I would sit here and speak to the flowers."

"I would tell this flowers how I was feeling. What I did during the day. Why I took these decision. And my deepest desires."

"But..." Erick turned back, towards the person he was closest to. The person he loved the most, and stared into his ocean like eyes with a beautiful smile. "I guess I don't have to do that anymore."

"Wh- what do you mean" Jake stuttered, his face turning pink. That smile had hit a particular string in his heart.

Erick walked with purpose towards Jake, and moved his arm towards his cheeks. Jake's face moved towards his hand, trying to sink into the warmth only to be disappointed as he removed his arms.

"You look beautiful with the flower." Erick stated.

"H- Huh?" Jake quickly moved his hand above his ears, only to feel a stem.

"Jake..." Erick called out, making himself the sole thing Jake could concentrate on.

"I love you"

Hearing those 3 words', Jake could hardly hold himself back. He lunged forward, Crashing their lips together. 'Soft' would be the only thing that came to both of their minds. "I love you too"
