Random Chat

"If you lived through - or are still living through - highschool, you can relate to Joon-Woo. An outcast and a loner, his only joy comes from the hours he spends on his phone, randomly chatting with strangers. It's all weird and meaningless, until Joon-Woo strikes gold - as he's matched in a private chat with a pretty young girl his age. Jackpot! But when he discovers that this same pretty girl is actually Seung Ah, things get a little too real for a guy who's never even been remotely kissed." Story: Eun Hyuk Park Licensed in english through Webtoon Novel: Jintane Unofficial Webnovel *Be aware this is a novel which is going to follow the exact same story of the Webtoon. I do not gain any profit from this whatsoever - I only want to add to the popularity of this Webtoon so go ahead and read it on Webtoon. It deserves a whole lot more attention. The Cover Art is not made by me, I only added the Title and the Author's name. If there are any concerns or problems regarding copyright or other topics you can contact me via e-mail, @okamisbusiness@gmail.com Thank you.

About writing, chapters, and references

CHAPTER HANDLING, WRITING:

First, how I handle the Chapters. While writing I look at the original, hence the Webtoon. The structure, dialogue and events are the same almost every time.

One Chapter from the Webtoon equals one Chapter here. 1:1 Ratio. This is to prevent confusion and let's me upload a tad bit more quickly.

Also, in terms of writing. I'll sometimes change the grammar or wording, sometimes even the structure and placement of sentences and events. If it better fits the atmosphere, I'll put a senctence that comes a tiny bit later, earlier than it was. For ex. 'Damn it!' He thought. The lights went out. -> The lights went out. 'Damn it!', he thought.

Yeah, something like that. So not necessarily changes that affect anything big, really. I guess you could also say my writing is going to improve over time. How I describe things, handle certain panels and expressions, and so on.

SCHEDULE:

Secondly, the schedule. While there is no real schedule I can say this: In the Webtoon, Chapters and Episodes are not the same. For example, an Episode consists of about 8 Chapters. I finished writing the first Episode, aka the first 8 or whatever Chapters? They're gonna get upload daily. Then you won't get any updates until I finished the next Episode which could take a week or two. And so on.

CHARACTERS:

Character introduction I handle a bit weirdly, you could say. Instead of giving you all the necessary details to have a correct image of a character immediately, I'm going to wait either until the Webtoon introduces them with their Age; Name and characteristics, or until I myself pick a moment that suits the introduction. Until then feel free to imagine characters however you want - but don't complain if your imagination's crushed sooner or later. To give you a rough picture, it could take 1-4 chapters until a character is properly introduced. I'll try to make it as soon as possible as I know it's not fun if you always get your images wrong.

Before publishing the chapters I look at every single one and see if I can find errors or polish things a little. If you happen to notice any mistakes you can let me know and I'll gladly fix it. Thank you.

REFERENCES:

This is a little hard to manage. There are a lot of references in the Webtoon, Art wise. I'm not going to describe the references as that would be silly. I can't say "He choked ... like a simpsons character" or something like that. Which is unfortunate, but there have to be cuts somewhere. I'll try to bring in references like the Jojo reference in Chapter 8, but other than that you'll miss out on those if you stick to reading this Webnovel - instead of looking at the Webtoon on Line Webtoon.

This chapter might still get updates and if it does I'll make it clear with the last chapter I posted.
