That was, until a red haired girl came knocking on their doorstep and asked (threatened) Rance to join her. But for what? Not to mention Kanami being here earlier due to something important. ~~~~~~∆~∆~∆~~~~~~ This is a Fanfiction about Eroge. Expect dark shit sometimes, or Rance going the H-route towards some females. Episode 14

[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]

Four days have passed since the Leazas Liberation Force had been formed, and Rance was finished managing an entire city and calming down the populace with the help of a few of his soldiers and Sill.

Between those days, he visited the imprisoned Helmanian Soldiers and convinced (read: manipulated) them to join the Rebel Batallion's cause of revolution with half-truths mixed with actual lies. He doesn't really expect all of them to fully follow him, though that wouldn't be a problem because he already brainwashed them.

And now.....

"I still haven't forgotten about the Hirara Ore I promised to collect...." Rance spoke with a sigh, standing up from his chair, before glancing at his bodyguards. ".... That's why I'm going to temporarily leave and you're all coming to assist me in gathering the ores."

His bodyguards, along with Sill, nodded as they followed him out of the room. He heard from his scouts that a bunch of Hirara Ore was located in a cave just north of the Free City of Ice, and due to that, he decided to leave L'Zille along with 10 Soldiers, Sill and Kanami included.

Because Rance wanted to make sure no strange looks would be on them, he made sure they wore a different set of clothing.

They marched around Kanra, before reaching the Free City of Ice, where he was pretty curious about his residence's current state.

"Ah, home sweet home." Rance spoke the moment he was in front of his house. "I'm going to summon Kirov out now, stand back."

Who? To those who don't know, aka. his soldiers, they were curious. That was completely Helmanian name, so they expected a human to come out of the house.

A tall construct slowly appeared in front of Rance, as it knelt before him. On closer look, it was something similar to a Stone Guardian wielding a sword and shield.

"Creator, no intruders have entered your house." It spoke through its helmet-like head, surprising those who haven't heard him speak even more.

"Good, keep that up like usual, I hate to see the house I made be broken by anybody, including you."

"Understood." With a simple command,

After a short explanation, blah blah creation blah blah blah.... the group of soldiers were welcomed to his house with a purpose to rest before eventually going north, all while feeling that they didn't need to be surprised at all.

Their journey to the north began after an hour, and they began to search for Hirara Ore inside a cave.

Bridgette Sankhta, one of the Rebel Brigade's soldiers and a bodyguard of Rance, had nothing to do but to follow their leader. Such was a job of a Helmanian Soldier like her.

It was pretty boring, yet they had to do this. For a long while, of course. Some of her colleagues have giant bags used to carry batches of ores out of the cave.

While they wandered deeper into the cave, a monster had appeared in front of them.

".... Huh?" Rance spoke, after a long while of being completely silent. ".... A massive chick?"

He shook his head.

"No wait, that's a Canaria, just easy to defeat at my current state..." Suddenly, he glanced at his soldiers. "Right! Sill, Kanami! Stand back, they'll take care of this monster instead of us!"

"Us?!" Bridgette replied, and their leader stared at them. "No, we do not have any complaints, sir!"

"Hmph. Good. Don't disappoint me as this is part of your training!"

Training? He didn't tell them anything about it!

Still, the soldiers took out their weapons and approached the monster, who glared at them with murderous intent.

"Umm..."

"Just let them be, Sill. Heal them afterwards."

[ ~ Line • Break ~ ]

The soldiers have killed the Canaria, wounded and heavily sweating. No casualties yet because Sill had healed the soldiers back up.

Due to the monster's death, their pathway is cleared, and a wall of ores can be seen in the distance.

"Above average. As expected of cannon fodder." Rance spoke, sighing in disappointment. "Y'all could use a more intense training, though. Just enough to not let you die. Aside from that, start mining and collecting those ores withme!"

Fun Fact: The Helman Rebel Brigade's main flag is the "R" one while the other flag that was a copy of Helman's own is to be used only when the time comes.
