To readers

As an author, I want to be dedicated to my work, so right now I don't have much time to write or contemplate about my writing, thus I am currently trying to motivate myself to write, so that I don't find a reason to procastinate.

So most of my mini theatre chapters can be considered as me, trying to lazily finish my work. However, I do want to write an actual chapter and hopefully from tmr onwards I will release one actual chapter.

I hope you do enjoy my mini theatre chapters!

"Older sister Siara, please play with me?"asked Lan Yuyan

I saw Lan Yuyan holding an odd looking box in her hand.

"let's play chess!"said Lan Yuyan as she showed off her box

Lan Yuyan opened her box and then I saw so many odd looking mini statues and a black and white board. She carefully arranged them neatly.

"So the rules are simple, we have total 6 pieces, they all have different roles.

The pawn, it can only move forward. In its first round, you can move it 2 or 1 step forward to your liking. The second round onwards it can only move 1 step forward. The pawn can only attack from its left or right side, it cannot attack from the front. Pawn can also become any chess piece as long as it makes it to the end of the chess board.

The rook, it can only move in plus way. Like it can move anywhere via vertical and horizontal way as long as no piece(your piece) is blocking it's way.

The bishop, it can only move in X way. Like it can move anywhere via northwest, northeast, southeast, southwest way as long as no piece(your piece) is blocking it's way.

The knight, it can only move in L way. This piece is very special because it can jump over pieces. The knight will jump over two pieces then you have to choose to go right or left. This movement looks like an L.

The Queen, she is one of the most powerful pieces out of them all. The Queen can move in all directions as long as no pieces (your pieces) is not blocking the way.

Finally, the King. He can move anywhere but only one step. As long as no piece (your piece) is not blocking the way he can move to there.

So, in this game, your purpose is to kill/checkmate the king. After you checkmate the king, it is your victory.

So in the chess board, you can see total 64 boxes, there are total 8 pawns, 2 knight, 2 bishops, 2 rooks and a king and queen. You can also notice that the pieces comes in two colours, which is black and white.

So, the white king and the white knight must be in the black box. While, the white queen and the white knight must be in the white box and code versa for the black pieces. The bishops are special because they stay in the same colour throughout the game. Like, one of the bishops are in the black side other in the white side.

The arrangements are 2 rooks are at the corner, then comes two Knights next to the 2 rooks, after that are the bishops next to the 2 knights. The white king will stay in the black box, while the white queen will stay in the white box, all the pawns will be in front of all the pieces."explained Lan Yuyan

Wow, this game is pretty interesting.

"Sure let's start playing."

Lan Yuyan gave me a sneaky smirk.

As we continue to play the game, I found it very easy. I could see lots of ways to checkmate Lan Yuyan. She had so many weaknesses.

"This is checkmate."

Lan Yuyan looked at me with despair.

"Are you cheating? Is this really your first time to play this game?"questioned Lan Yuyan

"Yup, it is."

"I don't believe you! Let's play again."said Lan Yuyan

We played 10 times.

It was a dreadful blow to Lan Yuyan since I won all the game.

"I don't believe this result, why don't you play with my older brother."said Lan Yuyan

Lan Xiyi came at the right time, he looked at the frustrated Lan Yuyan.

"What happened?"he asked

Lan Yuyan began to explain and asked him to fight for her.

In the end, it ended up as me being the victor.

Lan Xiyi looked mad.

We ended up playing chess for 20 times, it was the same outcome.

Lan Xiyi, Su Ziya, Zero, Lam Yuyan, they all lost to me.

However, I couldn't defeat one person. It was Brother Lin.

One day, I will definitely defeat him!
