The long dining table, made of the same caramel colored wood that was prevalent in much of the rest of the castle, seemed to have already been set up at one end with tableware. Tall floor to ceiling windows showed the ocean outside, crashing against the stone walls of the adjacent castle wings until the white wall of fog cut everything off. The frames of the windows and the trim along the walls and ceilings were covered in gold leaf and complimented with a curious, shimmering blue paint that turned green when viewed at different angles. The crown glory, of course, was the chandelier dangling from the center of the room, a great mass of glittering crystal and gold which, on closer look, had large pearls dotting each and every strand.
