I know that sometimes it can take women months or years to be able to return to society after what happened to them or at least don't be afraid of men, others cannot even do that, although there are also cases where women simply keep everything to themselves and move on as if nothing had happened.... Something strange that I noticed now that I was researching Date a Live, the timeline is strange and you can say it's practically non-existent, I read the novel a long time ago and I didn't remember some things so I have to check the wiki, but to tell the truth the timelines don't make sense.

The most important event, the arrival of the first spirit is 30 years ago, according to the wiki (and my memories), next we have Yoshino who was turned into a spirit about 26 years ago, Nia, the 'second' spirit, was transformed when she was 27 or 28 years old, she is currently 45 to 47 ...that means that she was made spirit 20 years ago even if I give some years at most is 25 years... which makes no sense acording to the timeline.

Not only that, Mio is supposed to have found Shinji 5 years after she appeared (wiki)... then the story we know followed and Mio began her 'experiments' to bring him back... It is assumed that at this time Shido was born (I remember this and he is 18 years old in volume 21 acording to the wiki), and he was given to the Itsuka family... so it is assumed that the experiments to create spirits began 20 years ago...

But well, it really seems strange to me that they have overlooked something like this in the novel, but well I will modify some ages of the Spirits so that they fit into the timeline like Yoshino that will only have 30 instead of 40.

Well that would be it, I really wanted to show more about Nia's mental state but it would really be several chapters (or even arcs) trying to cure her, so I used the old reliable 'Magic' to bullshit my way.
