"You mean,….. I am not an orphan?" Surprise, happiness, anger; all these emotions came crashing down Axel's heart when he heard the woman who claimed to be his mother. It took almost 10 minutes for Morganna and Lucifer to calm him down.

"If I am not an orphan, then why am I in this orphanage? I don't like it here. I don't have any friends here. Where are you? Why have you left me here?..." "For the second gift, you should close your eyes," said Morganna.

Axel closed his eyes with an anticipating expression. He felt something, like his body was a bit lighter than before and his mind was at peace.

"Ok, you could open it now"

When Axel opened his eyes, he was surprised. Just like what Lucifer had done at their first meeting, the surrounding was clear with no rotting zombies or demons. There was no presence of death aura. Axel could actually feel that he was a part of this world. As if the world had accepted him.

"Now the zombies would not disturb you. Since you are not from this planet, you were not formally accepted here. The laws of this planet were rejecting you. Now it had finally accepted you. So, you don't need to worry about these things now" explained Morganna

Axel was really happy when he heard it. She could already feel his discomfort without even asking. 'Is this how having a mother feels like?' he thought.

"My final gift would be the upgrade in the system" said Morganna by pointing at the ring. Then …

Slowly Axel drifted to sleep and now only Lucifer and Morganna were present.

"Why did you tell that his dad is dead? Don't you think that it is heavy news for such a small child?" asked Lucifer immediately.

"I was telling enough truth, so swallowing the lie would be easier" replied Morganna

"Yeah, you did say many lies. He thought you created the system. hehe.."

"What can I say, I cannot say all the truth now. His small heart cannot handle it. He needs to get stronger fast. I can feel that his fate is intertwined with many difficulties. Do take care of him, will you?"

"You don't have to worry about it. A devil never breaks his promise" said Lucifer with an evil grin.
