Chapter 83 - Riku

As soon as Bob crew walked the streets of Dressrosa he could tell it was a place filled with passion and love. Tons of beautiful people dressed in stylish clothes, but there was one thing that captured his eye. The various toys that walked around.

"Why are these toys walking around?"

Ain asked.

"Remember when I told you that there is a person called Sugar who can turn anyone she touches into toys? Well, these toys are people she managed to turn."

Bob said as he looked at Ain.

On the streets, everyone seemed to be living their lives to the fullest. However, Bob knew that was only because they forgot the existence of everyone who transformed into toys.

That was one of the effects of Sugar's devil fruit power. All those she transformed was erased from others memories. It was basically as if they never existed in the first place.

Her power was scary, but luckily she wasn't physically strong.

Bob already had an idea of how he would deal with Doflamingo and his family. He didn't plan on killing them nor turning them in, he had another idea.

Bob's arrival on Dressrosa was way before Luffy and his crew made it here. It was also before news of Doflamingo's resignation from the 7 warlords was announced.

After the marineford war, there were only two warlords that stayed with the world government. One was Doflamingo, the other was Mihawk. Kuma returned to the revolutionary army and shared all the information he learned with them. Boa Hancock was busy doing other things, but Bob never knew why she left.

The world government assigned the other positions to various pirates in the world.

Bob assumed that the warlord system would be dismantled, but it seems the government was still hanging on to it.

"On Dressrosa the Donquixote family rule everything. We will become the new rulers of this land, but to do that we need to get the people on our side. Bascurd, you Hassan and Gin find out what you can about the current situation on the island Ron, you Ain and Tiffany see if you can locate sugar. When you find her, capture her and lock her up on the ship. She's a threat I can't have running around. John, you Dalton and Sasha go to the colosseum and hold there until further notice. Luna, you're with me."

Bob gave them all orders and they nodded their heads.

"Ah, wait John."

Bob said as John was about to walk away.

"Cause a scene there."

John grinned.

"How big we talking?"

"Up to you."

"Got it!"

John replied.

Doflamingo didn't have Ace's devil fruit, therefore the colosseum shouldn't be filled with a ton of spectators. Only those who were forced to fight there, but Bob knew that the SMILE Factor was underneath it.

If John caused a commotion there, people would have to show up.

While that was going on, Bob could focus on doing other things.

All his crew was wearing demon like mask, so no one could see what they looked like.

Luna looked at Bob after everyone else left.

"What are we going to do?"

"We are going to go to the Toy House. There is something I want to do there, before I find out some information."

Bob didn't forget about his main quest, it's just that he did not know where to start.

There was still the marine base here, so Bob could check their logs but that would cause him to sneak into the marine base. If it came to that, he would do it but for now he would ask Riku Doldo.

Riku was the king of Dressrosa but dethroned by Doflamingo. If anyone knew anything about the marine admirals that were here in Dressrosa years ago, it would be him. Afterall, he was older than most others and was in a position of power. He's had to have interactions with marines in the past.

The only thing was, Riku was a participant in the colosseum for Ace's devil fruit in the show. Since things were now changed from the show, Riku might be hiding somewhere. The people who would know where he was, were the toys.

While Bob was heading towards the Toy house, John arrived at the colosseum where there was a long line of people wanting to enter.

"What's with this line?"

Dalton asked.

One of the people in line looked back at Dalton.

"You don't know?"

Dalton shook his head.

"Where have you been living? This is big news, there is a competition going on today for a devil fruit! It's the grand prize."

Dalton, John and Sasha was shocked.

"Who'd use a devil fruit as a prize?"

Sasha asked.
