Returning from the gym, Yu Qingyu was absolutely mentally exhausted. Not only has he been fighting monsters, or simulations of monsters to be precise, for several hours - which was a lot, even though it also included multiple lengthy breaks - but he had to do it alone. He would have felt so much better if he could have someone else with him. It didn't even have to be Liu Wei, even a stranger would do. Just another person to keep him company, so that Yu Qingyu wouldn't have to face the simulations alone.
But he couldn't ask anyone to join him. Not unless he was fine with acting completely out of character.
