"Why do you not continually keep striving to bring about more progress?" Wu Bin went on. "Why do you only lounge around and do nothing all day long?" A frown marred his face. "Life is all about making progress. If you fail to bring about any progress, then you are most likely going to lose the criminal. This would be the same as allowing the criminal to roam free so as to permit him to carry out even more bad deeds that are detrimental to society."
Wu Bin pressed his temples in frustration. He still recalled that he had poured cold water on Tang Meng's fiery passion at the beginning. But now that she seemed to have been able to put forward some evidence that was likely to turn the tables, he felt particularly embarrassed for the attitude he had shown at the beginning.
However, at the present time, Wu Bin only feels that the young woman was simply too arbitrary and could have already let a criminal go off the hook by doing absolutely nothing all day long!
