7.14 ETERNAL LOVE: Meal
It takes a lot of courage for Nox to ask Sol to come with him to the outer realms.
Because when he decides to do his work, Nox knows that he'll be committed to his duty once he leaves the Heavenly Cradle, and that he won't have the time to tend to Sol's needs as readily.
What if Sol will grow to hate him again? Nox is terrified at the prospect. But always one to value duty, Nox can no longer ignore the call of his purpose. So he goes up to Sol one day and asks, "Do you…wish to come with me?"
At first, Sol merely stands before him frozen. And Nox's worries begin to stir. He reaches out hesitantly, trying to come up with an excuse to placate Sol's mood.
Before he can find the right words to say, Sol's golden eyes begin to wet. Nox is stupefied.
