4.03 SANGUINE LOVE: Fragile
"Ah, there you are."
The book in Mo Yinan's hand falls to the ground when a gloved hand grabs his scruffy chin and forcefully tilts his head up.
Cassander frowns at him. "You did not come to the appointed meeting, so I got worried. And where did you get those clothes?"
Mo Yinan blinks like a deer caught in headlights. He tries to scowl but it comes out more like a pout. The way sunlight cascades through the stained glass is beautiful, even more so when the soft myriad of colors falls upon Cassander's pale hair and makes him glow like a divine being.
In hindsight, Yinan has no idea why he thought he would be safe in that little corner in the royal library.
The night before, Lord Cassander had left each 'Summoned Hero' to a private quarter of their own, complete with a bathtub and even a servant to tend to them. There was a set of clothing lying in wait as well, and Mo Yinan wondered just how they managed to get the sizing down so perfectly.
