Chapter 14

After contemplate whether to listen to her, Isaac decided to comply with her wish. It was, of course, as long as it is reasonable and acceptable wish. He won't let Ivy take him for granted and let her control everything.

"Ivy. Listen here. Can we make up? Let's start anew. Open up a new book, a new leave. After all, we already reach here. Tell me, what I should get you to boost your energy so that you can walk?"

Snicker at the change of attitude, Ivy almost burst her laugh out loud. She can't believe that she can use it as a threat. There is no more a domineering and annoying bachelor that keep pestering her.

In front of her right now, is a puppy asking for a treats. Nicely. Bowing his head and waiting for next instructions for him to follow in order to satisfied his owner.

How it that even possible? A person can change 180 degree in a mere minute. So funny and unbelievable.

"Do you want dinner? Will seven course meals enough or you do you want the 21 course meals. A whole fried chicken?"

Covering her mouth, Ivy, laughing heartily. She can't believe it that he would react that way. The reaction she received was really unpredictable. If only she see that reaction and not the all cold and grumpy at the café during their first met, she might not that repulse to leave.

After the heartily laugh stop, Ivy reply make not only the brother but all the guards have a doubtful thought.

"Haa... For now, some chocolate will do. I want chocolates. Even sweet fruits will do too."

"There is a few free duty store that sell chocolates. What kind of chocolates do you want? Let them bought them for you. My treats. As for fruits, I don't think there is fruits shops still open right now. So fruits need to wait until we leave here."

"Of course it is your treats. I don't even have money with me. And you took my purse and phone." Ivy getting irritate when she remember her belongings being touch by others. "So, talking about that, when do you plan to give my belongings?" she demands for explanation abruptly, leave Isaac pondering whether it is a good choice to give her now.

After all they still at the airport. She can still turn the event around by leaving him behind and cause him another problem. He doubt that he can trust her in less than an hour from her stunt just now.

"About that... I think I will give you later. The person who handling our luggage is not here. I will give you when we reach home. For now tell them which types of chocolates do you want. They will bought for you." Isaac said as he took his seat back and pointed his chin at the bodyguards behind Ivy.

Puffing the air out of her mouth frustratedly, Ivelyn can't accept that Isaac will change his mind that quickly. Can't he stay in one character at a time? The one she laugh at just now preferably? It will help her a lot if he did.

"On a second thought, I think I want to choose them myself. Let head to the nearest one." Reply Ivelyn. "I need some nice scene to clear thought anyway." Mutter Ivelyn to herself.

Standing up from her seat, she walks towards the store that she can see and smell chocolates. Ivy's eyes become sparkle with happiness when her eyes land on her favourite ones. She walks in a skip to racks full with various chocolates.

She take three biggest bars of each the red and purple colour packaging. Ivelyn plan to have half a bar for each day as it has been a while since the last time she had them. She want to eat them every day if possible. But, she know she need to control her sugar intake. And her parents always find a way to stop her from indulging herself with chocolates.

Suddenly, Isaac come standing next to her. In his hand there is a basket of the store. He held the basket and fill it with chocolates in her hands and then added another bunch of them inside it. He fill the basket with at least the whole boxes of chocolates that might take her forever to finish them all.

When she saw that, Ivelyn suddenly stand stiff and her mouth gapped at Isaac's action. She did not get a chance to ask her questions in mind when he suddenly asked her.

"Which one do you like? Dark, milky, fruits flavour, nutty, raisins or any other types chocolates do you prefer? Is there more? Do you think this much will be enough?" Isaac asked Ivelyn. She did not find any way to answer him as he already reach the check-out counter as he asked the last questions.

Massaging her temple, Ivy really want to be swallow by the earth at that moment. She can see that almost every costumer in the store stare at them weirdly. They must have thought that both of them are losing their mind to shop crazily like that.

No matter how much Ivelyn like to eat chocolates, she, too, never bought that much of chocolates at once. It will cause waste if they are not consumes before their expiry dates. Why can't a man with such impressive background, not using his mind to think before making decision? He act way too recklessly. It was a waste of money and food.

Taking a facemask and her glasses out of her bag, Ivy wear them before walks to the counter. She did not want to be recognise as a weird person for shopping spree at the chocolate store. That will be shameful and hurts her pride although she is a chocolate enthusiast.

"Just pay quickly. I want to have dinner before going to sleep." Whisper Ivy to Isaac, grimly.

Taking his thick wallet out, Isaac pay the chocolates after shrugging the weird reactions he get for helping his sister. He too, don't want to stay at the airport any longer. His bed and pillow was calling for him to lay on them already.
