***Alexander's pov ***

I woke up feeling like I was run over by a truck .

It's probably the Alcohol, I honestly thought I'd be able to control myself when I went there , but I lost it when I saw Anastasia stand in the courtyard.

My head hurts and I remember everything that happened while I was drunk , but what stood out was when I apologized to her .

I'm too soft on her , I have to make her pay and backing out is not an option.

I heard the door open and Anastasia came in with something in her hand .

" I made you some hangover soup " she said but I still had a cold expression on my face .

" I don't want it " I said , I was about to get up when she forced a spoon full into my mouth .

My eyes widen at her audacity, then I remembered how stubborn she is .

" I woke up early to make this soup so you'll finish it"she said as she continued to feed me and I let her there goes my resolve .

After that we got ready and headed to the office where we went our seperate ways .

***Anastasia's pov***

I woke early to make him soup and he said he wouldn't take it . I'm at my cubicle recollecting this morning's event

Then I remembered what he said yesterday ' I'm sorry Anastasia…' no one has ever told me sorry before so that really touched me

"Hi Ana " said Jeff, as interrupted my train of thought. Besides were we so close that he could call me Ana but I call him Jeff so I guess it's fine.

" Mmm morning Jeff" I said looking at him , he look flustered he said

"Umm Ana "

He said a little nervous

" Yes Jeff " I replied showing a little interest.

" Well it's just that we wanted to throw a little party today at the bar , so I wondered if you could come " he said without stammering, which suprised me , he always stammered. I looked around and saw them staring at me .

I thought about what he said and my choice was to decline .

" Well Jeff , I'm kinda busy so I don't think I'll be able to … " I was saying when someone interrupted.

" Oh common Ana , just come . It'll be like a little welcome party for you " Kyla said , she looked at me with a blackmailing look . Then I remembered what I told her , shit .

" ok sure " I said a little angry .

" Yay , it'll be at the All nighter restaurant and bar , we'll go in our work clothes " Kyla said making a general announcement, it seems they usually do this .

It was almost closing time and I remembered I hadn't called Alex and told him I wouldn't be going home with him . He shouldn't mind.

*** on the phone ***

"Hello Alexander " I said after he picked up the phone

" hmm" he replied

" We are having a team bonding exercise in our department so I called to tell you that I would come home late " I said

" I didn't hear about that " he said

"It must be an impromptu outing " I said hoping he'll just agree .

" oh I understand, but you can't go " he said and hung up without allowing me to even try to convince him .

I'll go I don't care what he says .

I'm not going to listen to him , his refusal just made me want to go and I would .
