“I am,” Rebecca said firmly, and kissed his shoulder again. “There’s no way me and Luke are letting our boyfriend go.”

Before you have a go at me, no, I haven’t told Shane about Chloe yet. He’s been a bit off the last couple of days. Since I told him we were moving, I guess. Off his food, turning in early, that kind of thing. Reckon it might be a stomach bug. If he’s still funny in a couple of days I’ll run him down to the doctor. Just hasn’t seemed the right time to tell him about Chloe.

He apologised for blowing up, though, which is something. I was dreading him turning into Jason. Chloe said he stuck a card through her door yesterday morning with an apology written in it. We’ll see about telling him soon enough. He likes Chloe usually, hopefully he’ll be on board with her moving in with us, eh?
