67. Are you a superhero?

After hearing Bi Yuhan's whisper, Vic and X fell silent altogether.

"Satin, we neglected monitoring happenings at the capital. It's our fault. We're busy investigating that incident." Vic said when he heard slight devastation from Bi Yuhan's voice.

X didn't say anything. He didn't refute what Vic said, also basically agreeing with him indirectly.

They can't understand the seriousness of the present issue, they were even confused at first about why Satin himself is taking action along with involving them too in this.

But whatever the case, as long as one needed the other, they could help with anything. That's how their relationship is. 

So they blamed themselves along with Bi Yuhan.

"It's okay. Get to work." Bi Yuhan composed himself and started to plan himself.

Soon X sent a map with some red circles circled around some areas.

It's a map of Capital University, the red circles are the best ambush spots that Mo Ling analized before.

"Go directly to the Buddha Park behind the Capital University auditorium." Bi Yuhan has a feeling that he'll see the kid there if he goes now.

Mo Ling after parting with Kevin strolled around the campus while tapping on her phone.

She has to admit that the design of the whole university is beautiful.

After a few minutes, she came to the park behind the auditorium.

This park was built to relieve the stress of the students studying in the college.

The Buddha Park has two gates. One is connected to the Capital University and the other one is for the general public.

It's purpose is to connect the students with the society. And the liveliness among the people may have a positive impact on students.

The capital university allows the public only at some specific times to enter the park.

When Mo Ling came to the gate connecting the capital university to the park, she didn't enter immediately.

She walked around the wall and jumped over it when she came to a certain location.

When she landed on the other side she came face to face with a little girl sucking a lollipop.

The girl is staring at her with wide eyes and open mouth.

"Brother! You're so handsome. Are you a superhero?" She came over with her short legs and asked Mo Ling while tugging at her sleeve. 

Children's worlds are so creative and at the same time simple.

Mo Ling squatted down and smiled at the pretty girl before her.

"Where are your parents?" She chose this location because she was sure that she wouldn't be caught by people's eyes. Who would've thought that a little girl around four years would be here in this secluded part of the park?

"My mommy went to buy me cotton candy."

"Then why are you here?"

"I chased a butterfly here." After saying that the girl scanned the surroundings, moving her head here and there trying to find the butterfly she chased up to here.

'oh no, I got distracted by the handsome Brother. I lost the butterfly.'

Her small face fell at that thought.

Mo Ling perked her ears and vaguely heard a woman's agitated voice coming from the front.

"Come. Let's go and find your mommy." She took the girl's hand and strolled towards the woman's voice with small steps.
