Primitive Man

A merciless and unforgiving world where a common cold could kill you, a world where survival of the fittest applied— A world where humans aren't at the top of the food chain. A world where the roar of predators echoes through the wilderness, and the threat of being hunted lingers around every corner. A world where the natural elements are both beautiful and deadly, with raging storms and scorching heat waves that can wipe out entire communities. Every day is a battle for survival, with individuals and groups fighting tooth and nail to secure food, shelter, and water. The weak and vulnerable are often left behind, their fate sealed by the brutal law of the jungle. And in this same age, same jungle there was a young boy, whose fate changed when he heard an unknown voice in his head. Garnt woke up feeling a little better after he was on the verge of death because of a single wound he suffered from hunting, and the first thing he noticed was that everything around him looked foreign to him, even though the cave he was lying in was supposed to be his home. While he was unconscious from the injuries, Garnt saw several things he couldn't even understand. He saw people using brick-like equipment to communicate with each other and flying monsters that happily served humans by taking them inside their bodies. A bizarre world where everyone covered their bodies. He saw giant structures that stood even taller than the largest caves he had seen and suddenly a voice questioned his mind about what he witnessed. [Why do these waters look muddy? Why don't you filter them?] What are you talking about? This is how they are supposed to look.  [Why are these weapons so blunt?] They are sharp enough for me. [Where are your clothes, Don't you get cold?] What are clothes, I don't know. [Why do men and women look like they don't feel anything while having sex? Wasn't it supposed to be romantic and sensual?] What do you mean? It is just an activity for procreation. After witnessing such a world, Garnt felt like they were missing something important. His current status looked like a living hell when he compared it with the vision he had. But was that vision real? Does something like that really exist? [Yes, it exists. Do you want to see that world? I will help you, but in exchange, you should make my dream come true.] ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Author's Note: —This story has R-18 elements to it, but no netorare (NTR) —This story doesn't follow the real evolution process from the Pre-historic period and there are some added fantasy elements since this is a work of fiction. Old family

Garnt skillfully prepared the rabbit he had hunted, his hands deftly working to remove its fur and skin while draining away the blood. Gundo, observing the process with curious eyes, wondered about the forthcoming meal. She was intrigued by how Garnt refused to let her consume it raw, igniting her curiosity about what he had in mind.

With his task complete, Garnt skewered the cleaned rabbit onto a sturdy stick. Gundo's gaze fixated on this peculiar display, her thoughts swirling with questions about his intentions. Just as her curiosity peaked, Garnt's actions took an unexpected turn. Holding the stick aloft, he positioned the rabbit over a crackling flame, a methodical determination in his eyes.

As the rabbit began to roast and the scent of cooking meat wafted through the air, Garnt's lips remained sealed. Unbeknownst to Gundo, he engaged in an internal dialogue with Eva.

[Just by cooking like this, you can kill most of the health hazards that can happen by eating raw food. Your body is indeed used to these types of things, but still, it won't hurt to be safe]

"This smell! I feel like my hunger is going berserk, I never felt something like this before," Garnt's mouth watered as he gazed at the slowly cooking meat.

Garnt turned his gaze from the fire to Gundo, a flicker of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "It's finished," he replied, his words soft yet brimming with a deeper significance.

"But why? Why not eat it like we usually do?" Gundo's curiosity danced in her eyes.

Garnt's gaze returned to the roasting rabbit, his expression pensive. "Cooking it this way changes the flavour, makes it tender, and safer to eat. It's a way of showing respect for the life that was taken."

Gundo absorbed his words, her understanding deepening as the aroma of the cooking meat enveloped them. "Sometimes I can't help but wonder where you learn all these things from. My son is a real genius,"

She didn't even question his words, Gundo believed everything he said and took some tender meat and started to chew on it only to be blown away by the changes it did to the meat.

"This is impossible! Why does this taste so good? What is this?" Ever since she got sick, Gundo had been experiencing new things thanks to her son and for her, this was one of the most confusing and exciting things as she had some interest in preparing good food for her son.

Garnt just laughed seeing her confused face and decided to talk about the important topic, he wanted to discuss with her. "Mother, can I ask you something?"

"What is it, dear?"

"Do you know any other people like us who might want to join our group? It could make things easier if we have more people working together with us."

Gundo thought for a minute, as her memories went back to her past and the only person she could think about was her sister.

"I don't know many people, but the only person I know is my sister, Ever since our parents died, I have been taking care of her and I don't know how she is doing right now,"

Garnt thought for a minute about how perfect the situation was. He knew things might not be what he expected, but having someone from Gundo's past, like her sister, could potentially strengthen their group. He nodded thoughtfully and replied,

"It's interesting that she might be a potential candidate. Family connections can bring a deeper level of trust and understanding to the group dynamics."

During this primitive age, the attitude of many parents towards their children shifted once the latter reached adulthood, often leaving them to their own devices. Similarly, Gundo was aware that her sister followed this norm. However, Gundo's excitement grew as she anticipated the upcoming reunion with her sister.

[This might be one of the better options, after all, we can't believe complete strangers. By looking at Gundo's face, I can easily tell this sister is not an asshole, so let's just proceed with our plan. After recruiting the sister, we might be able to find more people.]

"Tomorrow, let's go and visit her cave. I can't properly remember the path, but I remember there was a huge tree close to my previous cave. I hope she didn't change her place," Gundo muttered as she finished eating lots of meat.

Garnt just nodded at her and decided to clean the things, but he was careful enough not to throw bones outside as they were valuable raw material for him.

"Luckily, we have water in this cave, Garnt, Come here, I will properly wash your body," As soon as they finished cleaning, Gundo held Garnt by his hand and grabbed him to the spring, which was slightly hot.

They couldn't be grateful enough for this hot bath, as the night was freezing cold so both of them decided to enter the bath after removing their non-existent clothes. Gundo was only covering her vagina with a huge leaf, so she didn't even have to bother with removing clothes and Garnt wasn't even wearing anything, as he was fully naked all time.

The only instance he actually put on some leaves was when he chose to venture out for a hunt. Eva realized she needed to swiftly acquire the clothing blueprint before he outgrew his current age.

"Ahhhh~ this hit the spot," Gundo almost moaned as she felt her energy returning back to her body and she kept Garnt on her lap, as she patted his head slightly. Her huge boobs were floating on the water, but it only gave Garnt a pillow to keep his head as it felt softer than anything he could imagine.

"Garnt, how can I give my gratitude to this guardian spirit that helps you?" Gundo asked with a relaxed voice.

"Just say what you want, she is listening. After all, she is not something we can understand, even if we don't see, she is taking care of us," Garnt wasn't lying as he started to see Eva as some kind of a god. Yet, he didn't call her a god, since the concept of gods didn't exist in this primitive world.

"Mother of our nature, I offer our gratitude for your watchful care over us. If not for your intervention, me and my son would have died without even knowing what was happening. I'm so grateful for you," Gundo muttered in a tone that showed sincerity, and Garnt felt Eva's emotion for some reason as she was embarrassed.

[Stop it! I don't want to see another adult woman calling me a mother, I accept your gratitude so stop it.]

If Eva had a physical form, she would be blushing right now, but Garnt just found it amusing that even Eva has a cute side to her. He considered playfully teasing her but recognized that provoking someone as prideful as Eva would likely lead to undesirable consequences. Instead, he chose to complete his bath serenely and retire for the night, considering the busy day that lay ahead.
