Unforgettable Encounter With Missy Monreal

Chlea, Gayle and Molly went to a nearby coffee shop since they still have 30 minutes to spare before their first class starts. Chimes can be heard as they opened the shop's doors. Upon entering, a blanket of warm air and the strong but rich aroma of ground coffee beans lit up their mood. Chlea closed her eyes as she cheerily sniffed the amazing scent of coffee.

Including them, there are only five customers as of the moment and they got to choose the best spot inside where soft rays of the sun crawl which made the lighting natural and the ambiance calming.

At the table across their's, Chlea spotted a lady around their age who is staring gravely at her. Chlea sort of felt very awkward because she does not have an idea as to why that girl is looking at her like she is some sort of a criminal. This lady has a beach wave style with a light ash gray color that almost reached her waist. She wore a body hugging dress and has a hobo-style handbag on her left shoulder. She is sporting a gradient matte vampire red lipstick which made her look more scary and intimidating to Chlea's perspective.

The trio made their way to the coffee bar. A barista stood in front of then and then flashed a charming smile. His name is 'Ryan' as indicated at the badge card pinned on his left chest. Chlea got Vanilla Bean Latte, Gayle got herself Caramel Apple Macchiato and Molly ordered Creamy Milkshake. They moved to the next counter to make their payments.

"It's on me girls, since this is our first coffee date." Chlea excitedly said and grabbed both of their arms as they go to their table.

Gayle and Molly smiled cheerily.

As the three sat down on their chosen table while waiting for their order, Chlea cannot help but notice the lady constantly staring at her since earlier. It just makes her uneasy.

"Girls, how old are you? I am 18!" Gayle gushed.

"I am just a few months older, I am 19!" Chlea replied while blinking her eyes cutely.

Molly looked at the both of them who are expecting her to answer, "Well, I am 18 years old. I came from the countryside. I came here on scholarship." She related and gulped her drink.

"Wow, so you must be very smart!" Gayle teased.

"No, I am not." Molly shyly said and laughed.

Chlea is still on edge as the girl still keeps on giving her that striking stare.

"Girls, don't look back, okay? Pretend we are talking about someone different. There's a girl behind you right across our table who has been staring badly at me ever since we arrived. Geez, what's her deal?" Chlea hissed nervously.

Gayle being the sassy bad-tempered woman as she is, attempted to look behind at the two girls Chlea mentioned.

Chlea then quickly placed both of her hands to Gayle's head to stop it from turning back.

"Gayle, I said don't look. Maybe I am just imagining things. I don't want to pick a fight, it looks like they are the type that are into cat fights. Who is she by the way? Can you take a look Molly, you can easily spot her on your seat." Chlea uttered non-stop, afraid she may be involved in a petty fight once again and if his father knows she'll surely bid her goodbye to her newfound freedom.

The waiter then arrived to serve their drinks

"Thank you uhm Enzo!" Gayle smiled to the waiter mentioning his name as she read his name tag.

Molly took a sip of her milkshake happily and paused.

"Well, I actually saw her when we arrived and she was indeed looking at you then. That is Missy Monreal-"

"WHAT?!" Gayle choked and almost spilled her drink upon hearing Missy's name.

Gayle added, "You gotta be kidding me!" This time she really looked around and looked at Missy sipping her drink.

Gayle went aghast. She looked up the ceiling and her fingers as if pointing to something she only knows what. From the expression on her face, she seems like calculating.

Her eyes then widened, "Oh my gosh! I think I know why she's staring at you! It's because of that picture of you and Vaugh posted on our university page!" Gayle exclaimed.

"Yup, Gayle's right. Apparently, Missy is so into Vaughn. Everybody knows she has a huge crush on him." Molly added as a matter of fact while fixing her glasses up.

"Okay okay! So you are saying she has been giving me this look all this time because of that post? She must be jealous! Wait, are they in a relationship?" Chlea pointed out as she sipped her drink as well.

"Duh, if they were, Vaughn would not have acted that way with you! He's obviously single. Well, I totally understand why Missy is so into him I mean who wouldn't, right? He is so smart, sizzling hot, freaking handsome and a total package." Gayle said dreamily.

Chlea flashed a wide grin, "I totally agree. Vaughn is so attractive. I look like a potato next to him." She pouted.

Gayle seemingly over interested to the topic replied almost whispering, "Alright hun, you gotta know who this girl is. She is the only daughter of Cebu's provincial governor. A socialite and an influencer. Apparently, she is Hyolyn's greatest competitor. I could say they aren't in good terms. The girl she is with is her bestfriend, Paige Lopez. An equally rich and comes from a powerful family as well. They are both studying at the most expensive university in the Philippines where only rich people go to, South Dale University. " Gayle narrated as if she learned this from class.

'Ooh~ interesting. What a bomb for an early morning tea.' Chlea thought to herself.

"In short, they are both from crazy rich clans. I think you just better tell her you and Vaughn are not really in a relationship, that it was just a misunderstanding. Before it gets really bad. Gayle, what do you think? They're unbeatable." Molly suggested.

"Who said they're unbeatable? Like as a matter of fact, there are people out there much wealthier than they are. Chlea, I know you're just new in our place and you don't know who these people are yet but I assure you, there's nothing to be scared of. I mean, the real crazy rich people keep their lives so private you'll never guess they are rich in the first place. She is rich but she should not step on us." Gayle said as a matter of fact while looking at their way again.

'I thought so too, you've hit the bull's eye.' Chlea said to herself mentally while Molly nodded in approval understanding her point.

"Gosh look at her glaring at you like that, Chlea! Let's better finish this and head out." Gayle said.

As the trio were about to go out, Missy and Paige were already in front of them before they could even touch the door's handle.

"Excuse me, wait a minute." Missy said in an intimidating, sexy, and womanly voice while slightly pushing Gayle's right shoulder.

"Hi, what's up?" Gayle asked casually.

'This girl be testing my patience just wait. My crazy side is about to shine bright like a diamond.' Gayle thought while rolling her eyes so hard she almost saw her brain.

"Oh my, why are you so rude?! Don't you know me?" Missy exclaimed.

Gayle looked at her in the eye, "Yes, I don't know you. How about you, do you know us?" She retorted adding fuel to the fire. Chlea held Gayle's arms to restrain her.

Missy's mouth almost fell down to the floor in disbelief that these people do not recognize her.

"Well, I don't know you but I have something to say to your friend here. How are you related to Vaughn? You've got some guts huh? Everyone knows he's mine!" Missy voice echoed throughout the coffee shop. The staff looked at their direction, shocked with Missy's tantrums.

Chlea is furious already and she can't stop herself anymore. She then moved a step forward closer to Missy who was taken aback, "Yours? Does he even know he is yours? You can have him all you want because I am not interested. Girls, let's not waste our time for this delusional woman. Anyways, ciao!" Chlea shouted leaving Missy almost crying.

The three of them hurriedly went outside as they are already running late for their first class. Chlea is in between Gayle and Molly. She held both of their hands as they walk back cheerily.

"Geez, I just can't stand her. My three year old niece does not even throw tantrums like that. Good for her, Chley." Molly said while laughing.

"Goodness gracious, we only have five minutes until the lecture starts! Girls, walking would not help us right now, are you ready? Let's run! Waaaah!" Gayle exclaimed as she zoomed running.

Molly and Chlea looked at each other and started running crazy as well. This professor is very strict and they would not want to be on his bad side when the school year just started.
