Chapter 15: CRASH

"Have you been ok?" he suddenly asked I looked at him confused, a minute ago we were screaming at each other, now it seemed like it never happened.

"Good," I asked warily "You ever find out who their dad was?" he asked curiously I laughed humourlessly. "Yeah, and I think that he would beat you in the world‟s biggest dick competition…wow that sounded wrong" I laughed, and he laughed along with me.

"Hmmm, well I might win" he smirked "Ah, shut it, John," I said blushing "Sorry," he said laughing. "But why was he an idiot?" "Jacob didn't want to be a dad. He left when they were about a week old. Not very cool" It had hurt that he had left. "Dad left too," I said as an afterthought. "Your dad? When?" "Before Mae, Ava and Adam were even born.

We were an embarrassment to him. I heard that he was married again." "I never figured he would do that" "No one did. We got home and his stuff was gone and he left a note saying that-"I was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Hang on, I‟ll go get rid of whoever that is" I walked into the lounge room to see the triplets still playing; I opened the front door to reveal Jacob leaning on the door frame. "Jake?"

"Hey, Amelia. Can I come in?" He walked in without even waiting for me to respond. Rude much? "Hell, they have grown," he said gesturing to the triplets, who were now looking at him like he was a demon with blue horns. "Yeah, they do that after a year… what are you even doing here?"

I asked angrily "Jeeze, I need a reason-" CRASH! I jumped about a meter in the air; it came from the kitchen, where John was. I got worried when I didn't hear anything else. Then John came walking into the room, covered in flour. I burst out laughing at the look on his face.

He looked embarrassed and shocked at the same time. "Jay?" he said dazedly I looked between them and Jacob looked him and stiffened. "You guys know each other?" I asked "Yeah we are roommates at college. How do you know him? Why is he here?" "Jacob, as in the father of my children...

I was talking to you about him before." I explained John went red with fury. I had never seen him this mad. "You‟re the one who f**king knocked her up?" He yelled angrily Oh shit, I could see that this wasn't going to end well. Jake back up looking for a way out.

Yeah, this wasn't going to be good at all. "Guys, if we are going to talk, can we go into the other room. I have three children in here." I hissed John and Jacob looked at each other and stormed into the kitchen
