Chapter 3

Everyone looks at Jet at the same time.

Not a single person in the room even thought of that, now they're curious about the reason behind his statement.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

Colin's attention turns to the monitor room in the bunker, the room has monitors on the walls and a computer that powers their shields that keep the infected away.

He sits in front of the computer clicking away at a fast pace, results of working on the computer since he was 15.

He turns off the outside shields and stores all of the shields power into the bunkers shield, making it thicker and stronger, virtually impenetrable.

This is done to keep shield absorber Infected out, since they can only take down a shield they can touch, when a shield is inside a room the infected cannot enter.

The exception is when they break the window and touch the shield after, but all houses have no windows, some have nano window shields so if they want to look outside they can.

Colin watches as the Infected storm their family home, he sighs and walks to the bunker, "Lily, I'm sorry I delayed not moving, we can move as early as tomorrow morning if you'd like."

Lily yawns having an uncontrollable urge to sleep because of the healing energy in the room, "Sure, right now let's all get some rest."

Colin sits down to eat and once he's full he has an uncontrollable urge to sleep like everyone else did, but they are already passed out.

Blue light bouncing off the walls in the room.

Mira is shaking in her sleep and it's not because it is cold. The candles and lamps are emitting heat that made the room warm enough that no one needs a blanket to sleep.

"Stop it Sarah! Stop! ...." Mira shouts and jumps awake, her eyes purple, she looks at Dodge, "The enemy." She falls asleep again, having a dreamless sleep the rest of the night.
