The long wait

"So, what were you planning to tell us again?" Henry asked as he and the others turned towards Sam.

"Hmm, I didn't expect the fight to resolve so quickly, but this is surprising if you ask me." Sam spoke.

"Well, it was barely a fight to be honest. It was just a scrap or an argument to be fair. Enough with it. Let's talk about what you had to say." Henry seemed quite restless at that point.

"Well, I listened to what you lot had to say in the afternoon and although I did not give you a reply back then, I'm giving it now." Sam replied, before turning towards Henry. "You! You gave out a really heartfelt apology and it would be unfair if I didn't forgive you after all that." He spoke.

"Wait! For real?" Henry was surprised at that point. And it wasn't just him that was surprised at that point.

"Does that mean?" Sid seemed hella hopeful at that point.
