"What's going on right now?" Sam asked, looking all confused at that point.

"Well…" Veronica gave out a really deep sigh at that point. "Here's the thing, yea? Sure, I don't harbor any romantic feelings for you right now, or so I believe, but I do wonder what would've happened if we actually made our thing work before. And having this dwindling feeling in my mind makes me wanna revisit it and try it out once more so that we could end it for good if it doesn't work out one more time. I mean, it's not like I haven't told you about this already." She shrugged as she said that.

"Ha, I guess that's true. So, what you're telling me right now is that we should try dating once more, right?" He asked.

"Yea. No false pretenses, nothing of that sort. We'll just be ourselves this time around. That is, if you are fine with it." She replied.

"Wait, I never did any false pretenses or shit like that!" He argued.
