The next day. Sam had already talked about everything that went on last day and told her that he wasn't going to ask her out anymore. Everything went back to normal. But Sam just seemed quite down as he just slammed his head into the office desk.

"What happened today, Sam?" Jane sighed as she asked that question.

Before meeting Sam, she had never seen someone so emotionally vulnerable as him. Like, he sure did have something going on every other morning. He's happy one moment and sad the very next. It was quite confusing in her eyes. However, it wasn't like she hated that or anything. She just found it incredibly fascinating.

"Hmm, nothing much. But can I ask you something?" Sam asked.

"Yea, sure. Why not!" Jane nodded her head as she said that.

"Don't you feel like our lives are a bit monotonous?" He asked.

"Hmm, I mean the work in the office sure is, but when we get out of this place, we sure have our fair share of fun." Jane spoke.
