"It's not the same anymore." Sam mumbled before he walked away from Jane.

And Jane could do nothing but watch him walk away just like that. She didn't know what to say because what he said kinda made sense in her mind. So, rather than making things worse by blabbering bullshit, she decided to stop and give Sam some space.

Things didn't get any better as time passed, to the point that it stayed the same even when they were in the office the next day.

"Okay, you gotta tell me what happened between the two of you." Sid, who saw the both trying their level best to avoid each other, asked Jane.

Jane simply sighed at that point. "Damn, it seems like Sam was right after all." She mumbled.

"What are you talking about?" Sid looked confused as he asked that question.
