Veronica stayed silent for quite some time. And seeing her silent like that, Sam decided to speak once again.

"Have you been hiding the fact that you hate me or something? Is this entire relationship thing a plan that you formulated to get back at me?" He asked.

"As if! I wouldn't have been in this with you if I hated you." Veronica argued.

"As I said, it could all be a plan that you made because you hate me. I mean, it is entirely possible." Sam shrugged as he spoke.

"Yea, maybe. But it isn't. Sure, it irks me that you find it difficult to tell your friends that you're back with me, but isn't this entire second chance in our relationship all about understanding each other? So, I'm doing my best and trying to understand where you are coming from when you do that." Veronica explained.

"I mean, if you find it so difficult, you don't have to keep doing it, you know? It's not like I'm forcing anyone here." Sam spoke.
