A new outlook

"Well, that was quick." Jane mumbled as she saw Henry making his way to the bed.

"Ah, yea…" Henry muttered as he got into the bed and stared at the ceiling.

"So… Did you have a satisfying conversation with Sam? I mean, although you've only been chatting for a few minutes or something, that doesn't mean that you couldn't have a deep convo, right?" She asked.

"Yea, you could say that." Henry mumbled as he continued staring at the ceiling.

Jane saw this and just got herself up from the bed. "What happened?" She asked.

"Huh?" Henry looked confused at that point.

"I asked, what happened to you? Ever since coming back, you've been looking like you're thinking hard about something. What is it?" She asked again.

"It's nothing." Henry tried his best to cover it all up with a smile, but it turned out to be unsuccessful in front of Jane.
