Pokemon?

Austin woke up to find himself in a room he felt familiar. As he sat up on the bed he closed his eyes to figure out why he felt like he knew this place. A bunch of information suddenly entered his head.

This body belonged to a boy also name Austin but his last name was Powers. He is currently an orphan and this is his small room in the orphanage.

He found that he was in a Pokemon world. He was happy at first, that was until he realized it was a nightmare world. This world had Cities isolated from each other's. The cities were separated into districts. The lower the number, the higher the class.

Reviewing all the memories, his parents were researchers in the central district. They were working on a device to power the city so as to lower the dependence on Pokemon. They also tried to breed Pokemon to be like before loyal and innocent.

The Pokemon in this world are as aggressive as the one in the charm of soul pets. Humans have to work harder to rebuild bonds. His parents died in a monster waves. They long ago sent him out and gave him their life savings and there most loyal Pokemon. The poke ball they used was a luxury ball and it housed a high level crystal onix. Due to its high level and clear body talent it retained its kind nature.It wasn't affected by the raging aura of legendaries.

Due to this new world Pokémon attacked each other to survive. They also killed many humans and the world became a dog eats dog world. Survival was for the fittest.

Austin was told by his parents not to reveal his identity. He also was told to only release onix out of the city whether its to feed or to train.

They also gave him their secret project, that like a pokeball, kept Pokemon in a dormant state. It was a pendent that could store things in it. The room inside was about as big as two houses. His parents put money and food and water inside.

The previous 14 year old Austin hated his parents and hated this world. He had no one and was a wimp. He even wanted to get rid of onix. Thankfully on his way to do so he slipped at the same moment as the New York Austin and some how their souls switched places.

With info at hand Austin knew today was the selection of trainers that everyone dreaded so he decided to go and become one to figure out the reason for this chaos.

Being known as the professor he already made his assumption of the chaos caused by the Pokemon Thundurus. He didn't believe Thundurus alone was able to bring this destruction. As the league had many trainer who could take him down. Even mew has the power to calm down thundurus and make him faint.

All this happened was probably made to happen by arceus and the other legendaries. It also might be the answer to the question that was bugging him in his previous life. How did the ancient civilization be destroyed or ended when Pokemon are so docile.

He will get strong and find this out. He then left the orphanage and went to the train station to go to the central district to join the selection.

"Looks like I have to go. What kind of Pokemon nightmare did I get myself into." Austin mumbled on the train.
