Pokemon: These Players are too annoying!

Players, those with questionable judgment and difficult to manage, tend to act very randomly. The Pokémon world, while beautiful, hides unpredictable dangers within. Three Pokémon

As soon as Trick Room wore off, Billy roared like a Shounen protagonist.

His determination, willpower, and anger made him seem stronger than ever.

"GAHHHHH!!!"

Whoa! Billy is charging at Proton with incredible strength. I can't wait to see Billy's punch land!

"OUGHHHHH!!!"

Proton kicked Billy hard in the stomach, leaving him dazed and nearly making him vomit.

...wait, I thought Billy was about to turn into a Super Saiyan or something?

"Trash, trying to act heroic. Get lost." Another kick landed straight on Billy's face, knocking him down and even making a few teeth fly out.

"Tri Attack," Proton ordered Porygon2, aiming directly at Billy, who was clutching his stomach.

There's no way Surge would let that happen!

"Quick Attack!"

Raichu dashed forward to attack Porygon2, successfully stopping its attack.

"PROTON!!!" Surge charged at him, fist raised.

Proton dodged the punch, using his leg to sweep Surge's legs out from under him, making him fall.

He immediately drew a knife, intending to stab, but Surge kicked him square in the chin, causing him to drop the knife.

"Raichu! Keep holding off Porygon2!" Surge ordered Raichu.

"Don't even think about it! Come out, Rhydon!" Proton tossed out a Poké Ball, summoning Rhydon.

"Stop that Raichu! We need Porygon2 to set up Trick Room again!"

Rhydon!

"Keep dreaming!" Two girls' voices rang out, followed by blasts of golden energy and water hitting Rhydon, pushing it back.

"Tch, two counter Pokémon? Annoying." Proton took out another Poké Ball and threw it into the battle.

Victreebel!

"Leaf Storm!" Proton commanded, and Victreebel created a whirlwind of leaves that engulfed everything around. Misty's Starmie was swept away by the leaf storm, while Ivysaur struggled to withstand it.

As the others tried to hold their ground, Proton issued another command.

"Victreebel! Use—"

"ENOUGH!!" Another punch from Surge was aimed at Proton's face...

...only to be easily blocked by Rhydon's hand.

Rhydon exhaled and twisted Surge's arm.

"UGH!" Surge grunted in pain but didn't scream like others might. He reached for another Poké Ball, but Proton kicked him, sending the ball tumbling into a hole.

"I've changed my mind. Rhydon, throw him into the hole."

Rhydon obeyed, gripping Surge tightly with both hands and lifting him up.

Raichu, noticing Surge in danger, tried to intervene, but Porygon2 intercepted it.

"Damn it! Let him go!" a young man shouted, ordering his Hitmonchan to charge.

But Victreebel took the hit without issue, glancing at Hitmonchan with disdain before spitting poison into its eyes.

Hitmonchan clutched its face in pain, only to be struck by Victreebel's vines, sending it flying into the young man and knocking them both down.

Leaf was sweating; she didn't have any Pokémon to counter Victreebel. She hadn't even captured a Pidgey yet!

'What do I do, what do I do?!'

Misty had a Psychic-type that could deal heavy damage to Victreebel, but her Pokémon were also Water-type, making them vulnerable to Victreebel's Grass moves like Leaf Storm, which could knock them out.

'...Do I really have to use it?'

She looked at a Poké Ball in her hand, though her trembling showed she was reluctant.

The situation was critical: Surge was about to be thrown, no one had a counter to Victreebel, and Raichu was still being held back by Porygon2.

Proton smiled at the outcome and ordered Rhydon to throw Surge.

Seeing Surge about to be dropped, Raichu grew furious, unleashing a massive surge of electricity around it.

But the electricity was useless; Porygon2 withstood it, and Rhydon was immune to Electric attacks, so it had no effect.

Exhausted, Raichu collapsed, unconscious.

"Do it."

Surge, sweating and struggling, tried to break free, but it was in vain.

Just as hope was fading...

"Hey."

...a new hope arose.

A rock shot straight at Rhydon, startling it and making it drop Surge onto safe ground.

Everyone turned toward the source of the shot.

A young man approached, with tanned skin and strong, muscular arms.

"B-Brock?!" Leaf and Misty gasped.

Brock had arrived with Golem!

"Sorry, I'm a bit late. This time, please leave it to me."

Proton glared at Brock, then remembered an important detail about him, making him approach with extreme caution.

Brock noticed Proton's wary look and realized that this enemy probably knew something about him.

If that's the case, no need to hold back.

"Everyone, please step back. I'll finish this quickly," Brock said. The others exchanged glances, then moved behind him, carefully bringing along the injured Billy.

"Please, save Surge!" a few people pleaded with Brock.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure to save him." With that, Brock prepared to draw another Poké Ball.

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! VICTREEBEL, PORYGON, AND RHYDON, ATTACK NOW!" Proton ordered, and all three Pokémon rushed at Brock.

Golem stepped forward, blocking the three attacks.

"Come on out! Steelix!" Brock threw the Poké Ball, summoning a towering Steelix whose roar echoed throughout the power plant.

As it stepped onto the metal bridge, it shook violently but thankfully held under Steelix's weight.

"This... this is troublesome..." Proton broke into a sweat but still didn't give up.

Suddenly, a walkie-talkie crackled to life, and Proton grinned.

"All three of you! Hold them off with everything you've got!" Proton shouted before turning and running off somewhere.

"W-What?! That cowardly jerk!" Leaf shouted angrily.

He dared to flee the Pokémon battle, even abandoning his own Pokémon?! That scoundrel deserved no mercy!

However, as they prepared to chase after him, all three Pokémon attacked, making them back off in fear.

"Hey! Your trainer abandoned you, and you're still loyal?!"

But it was no use. All three continued to attack, leading them to a grim realization.

Could it be that these Pokémon were "trained" to obey orders even if it meant fighting to the death?!

Seeing the three Pokémon blocking his way, Brock sighed, realizing he had no other choice.

"Forgive me, but we're running out of time."

Brock removed his shirt, revealing his rock-solid, six-pack body. Around his neck hung a beautiful stone pendant.

Everyone was confuse by why Brock was taking off his shirt, but Misty noticed the pendant and immediately recognized it.

"A K-Key Stone?!"

"Key Stone?" the others said in unison, having never heard of such a thing before.

Misty, seeing the Key Stone, understood why Proton seemed so cautious when Brock arrived.

Brock gripped the pendant and shouted.

"MEGA EVOLUTION!"

A radiant light burst from the stone on his pendant, along with a glow from Steelix.

The two beams of light connected, a sign of the deep trust between them.

The light formed a shell around Steelix, intensifying until it shone brilliantly throughout the area.

Then, with a powerful roar, twice as loud as before, the shell shattered, revealing Steelix in its ultimate form.

Crystals floated around Steelix, and its enhanced body sprouted even more crystalline structures.

Everyone looked on in awe at Steelix's new form.

Mega Steelix had entered the battle!
