Chapter 132

Aizen and Sabrina stayed at the Oak Laboratory until lunchtime, and during their stay, they visited the Corral whilst Hilda and Professor Oak did some research on his Alpha Aerodactyl. After their return, having met hundreds of Pokémon, the two of them made some changes to their Rosters.

The Orayen Prince took out the Promise Ball from his Roster, and 'officially', shifted it to the Blanc Laboratory. This allowed him an extra spot, which he filled with the Pokémon he was going to take with him.

Aizen did not know how long they might have to stay at the Cameran Palace, so he decided to take all the Pokémon whom he needed to train for the League, as well as his Mega Metagross, Mega Pidgeot, Mega Salamance, and Anira's Mega Garchomp.

As for the rest of his Pokémon, who were not on his Roster, he moved them to the Oak Laboratory for Anira to keep them during her time here. He needed to leave some Pokémon with her for her safety.

Leaf and Anira were already up when the two returned to the Green Estate, and they were both helping Elaine in the kitchen.

"Brother!" His Princess happily rushed into his arm and kissed him on the cheek. "You did not take me with you!" And she complained.

"You can visit the lab any time you want. Better yet, why don't you all move there for a few days?"

As soon as they heard his words, they all froze, and Elaine sensed that something serious was going on.

"What's wrong?" The lady asked.

"Just a Criminal Organisation that is causing some problems in the region. I and Sabrina have to leave in the afternoon to deal with some matters, and Mrs Oak has invited you over to stay with her. It's a precaution, just in case some people decide to target you to get to us."

Even though Elaine looked extremely worried after his words, she still nodded to him and kept quiet.

The lunch was a quiet affair too, until the hazel-eyed girl raised a question.

"How long will you be gone for?"

"Not sure." He truthfully said. "We will keep in touch." He promised, and all three of them nodded their heads.

Once they had their meal, Elaine packed up a few things and then recalled her two Mightyena inside their Pokeballs.

"Mala and Archie are at the Corral." He informed her just when she was about to call out to her Arcanine, thinking that it was somewhere in the woods.

"Okay."

On their way, he noticed that she seemed very lost, and he sighed in his heart.

Aizen had a hunch that it had something to do with the circumstances that revolved around her late husband's death, and what was happening now had invoked some sad memories.

"Elaine!" Mrs Oak smiled at her old friend, and seeing her, the Green managed to smile back.

"Hilda. You are back and you did not inform me?"

"Just got back a couple of days ago and was busy with a few things. Come in!" The blue-eyed lady enthusiastically said and then cupped Leaf's cheeks before giving her forehead kiss. "You are becoming even more beautiful than your mom was at this age."

"Hello, Aunty." The girl blushed and greeted her, and then it was Anira's turn to receive some affection, but the Princess was not shy at all.

Whilst Hilda showed Elaine and Leaf where they would be staying, Aizen pulled Anira to the Corral, where some Pokémon were waiting for her.

Seeing Arcanine, Lapras, Togepi, her Vulpix, Aerodactyl, and also Gengar who emerged from her shadow, she understood that these Pokémon were going to stay behind with her.

And then to her surprise, Rinko jumped off her brother's shoulder and entered her arms.

She giggled as the mischievous fox gave her licks all over her face.

"Their Pokéballs are inside the Laboratory. You can access them. They will keep you company."

"Thank you!" She sweetly said and then asked about her Mega Garchomp. "You are taking Atlas with you, right?"

"Yes." He nodded and then plucked the Pokéball from his belt, calling out her first Pokémon.

Seeing the Mega Garchomp, a lot of Pokémon at the Corral were alarmed and scurried away, but once they heard the happy cries of the Princess, who was taken to the skies, their hearts settled down.

The Dragon was not going to eat them today. It seemed to be in a good mood.

"Don't play around too much. Focus on your training." Aizen gently patted Leaf's head once they were ready to leave, and the hazel-eyed girl obediently nodded to him before proceeding to hug him.

"Be safe." She wished him and then hugged Sabrina as well.

"We will be fine. And if I don't make it back before your birthday, I will remember to send you your birthday present." He promised, which brought a smile to her face.

"Do keep me informed about what's happening on your end."

"If Gary acts stubbornly, you can beat some sense into him."

Oak and Hilda said to him, and he smiled at them before nodding his head.

"I will keep you informed. And if anything happens, just send us a signal."

"Don't worry about it. If they come here, they won't return." Oak harmlessly smiled, and this was the first time, even for Elaine and Hilda, who had known him for decades, to sense coldness in his voice.

"See you!" Aizen waved at them and then called out his Mega Salamance.

Following his lead, Sabrina called out her Aerodactyl, choosing it as her ride, and then both of them shot off to the sky on the backs of their Pokémon.

Within seconds, the two disappeared into the clouds, and even though they were surrounded by Professor Oak, Hilda, Elaine and the Pokémon, both Leaf and Anira felt lonely.

"Toge..." The Egg Pokémon called out to her, and the Princess managed to get a grip on her emotions.

"He will be back soon. Let's go and play with the Pokémon here." She said as she picked Togepi up in her arms, and then she rushed inside the woods to meet all the Pokémon at the Corral. "Leaf! Let's go!"

"Coming!"

The three adults laughed at their antics and were relieved that they were not depressed.

"I still have to observe the DNA of Aerodactyl. See you at dinner."

"Goodbye, Professor!" Elaine smiled at him, and then together with Hilda, went inside the Corral to meet her Pokémon, whom she had not seen for a few days now.

On the other side, up in the sky, a certain Mega Salamance was growing unhappy as it found the Aerodactyl faster than it.

"Behave, Sky." Aizen admonished his Pokémon.

"Skyyy!"

"Behave." He gently stroked its neck. "You can race with it some other time. We have to be serious for now."

The Pokémon obediently listened to his words and stopped messing around.

However, it still pushed itself to its limits to keep up with Aerodactyl's speed.

The Orayen carefully called out a certain Pokémon in his lap, and the moment Clefairy appeared, she panicked a little.

"Hey." He wrapped his arm around her and kept her safe, and after a few seconds, she was thrilled by the height and the speed by which they pierced through the clouds.

"Clefairyyyy!"

"Like it?"

"Clefairy..." She nodded her head and then laughed excitedly.

It only took them half an hour before they flew past the Indigo Plateau, heading towards the tall Northern Mountains, and another half an hour later, they could see the faraway Tree of Beginning, which stood majestically taller than any mountain in the region.

Under the sunlight, the Aura Stones that were all over it sparkled, and Clefairy was enthralled by the sight.

Aizen had just glanced at his watch when he heard a cry of the dragon, and when he turned to his left, he saw Cynthia, atop her second Garchomp, flying in the same direction. Next to her was Glacia, who was riding her Aerodactyl, and the two ladies had already spotted them.

Under his signal, Sabrina changed her course, and seconds later, the two joined the Sinnoh Champion and the famous Elite Four of the Hoenn, who was known all over the world as an Ice-Type Specialist.

Sky was happy to meet its old friend, and both Aizen and Cynthia had to hold tight when their Pokémon started spinning around each other, having some fun.

"Calm down, Rexi." The blonde spoke to her Pokémon who roared in protest but obediently started behaving.

It was the same for Sky, who did not play around anymore, mostly because they could sense eyes on them now.

Soon, a small Island in the middle of a lake appeared, connected in north and south with long bridges, and on this Island stood a magnificent and ancient Palace, which was also sparkling due to the Aura Stones found all over it.

Even though the Annual Games had not yet started, guests were already coming here as the land had been opened to them. There were already a few hundred guests, staying in the lodgings around the Palace, and on their way, they discovered quite a few vehicles approaching the Palace.

Aizen glanced at the distant Tree of Beginning, which was now getting covered by clouds, and then asked his Pokémon to circle the Palace and stay up.

All four of them stayed in the sky for a few minutes, attracting a lot of attention, and finally, Riley arrived at the scene, riding his Mega Pidgeot.

"Sorry for being late. The food back at the restaurant was a little too delicious." He immediately said, and both Aizen and Cynthia laughed at his words.

Riley was the same as always, a true Foodie.

"Let's not keep them waiting any longer." The Orayen Prince smiled as he descended to the platform that was connected to the tallest keep of the Palace.

As soon as the five of them landed on the platform, Joseph Stone, his son Bill, and the Queen of the Rota Kingdom, Ilene Cameran, stepped forward to greet them.

And the Queen of Rota Kingdom had a very happy smile on her lips when she saw the Orayen Prince.
