Chapter 66 – Crystal Onix

At the center of the island.

Ash and party were moving towards a cave.

Mateo "Well he will come soon."

Then and high pitched sound came and a Huge Bird of prey flew down.

Ash looked at the Pidgeot and muttered "B rank."

Pikachu squinted "hmm early stage."

And he then disappeared and was in the air and a thunderbolt was launched towards Pidgeot.

But surprisingly he dodged it and rushed towards Pikachu who again used Extreme speed and levitate to dodge.

Ash "Pikachu the wild pokemon have developed their instincts more than the pokemons in the city."

Pikachu "Pikapi."

And then his tail glowed and he jumped towards tree branch avoiding an airslash and slammed the tail at Pidgeot who fell on the ground.

Now both Ash and Pikachu smirked.

And Pikachu slammed his tail on the ground with electricity on it and bang the ground shook and Electric shock flowed out.

Pidgeot who was trying to stand stager and got hit by the shockwave.

Pidgeot roared.

And then wind swept out and Pikachu was flown out.

Ash "Ah Pikachu are you alright."

A Reply came in huge thunder landing on Pidgeot and his skin got burned.

Pikachu then floated down from the sky.

Pikachu murmured "Since when did I was flung off last time."

Ash "we will decide that later now Extreme speed and Iron tail."

Pikachu nodded and blurred in a flash and his tail glowed.

Pidgeot had learned a lesson and flew up and his wings too shown.

Both collided and a metallic sound rang out.

Then many clanks sounded Pidgeot had an aerial advantage but that was it.

Ash "Hmm Pikachu end it."

Misty looked at him "Ash what are you planni…"

Before she could end a boom sounded Pidgeot fell to ground burned in crisp."

"Planning to do?"

Ash went near it and checked its condition and sighed in relief.

Marissa and Mateo were stunned.

Marissa asked "Is it done was that really a commander tier pokemon."

Tracey confirmed "Yes if that Pidgeot had not done a silly mistake then it would have been longer."

Mateo "What silly Mistake."

"Underestimating Pikachu on its size."

Mateo didn't understand "Means."

Tracey "There are very few or none Pikachu's which have reached this state without evolving to Raichu."

Marissa "Means he is special."

Tracey smiled "Yes."

Ash then walked back after checking Pidgeot's condition.

Ash "Mateo he will wake up in four minutes lets go."

Mateo "But he will…

Ash cut in "Devoured no Pidgeot will guard him"

And he threw Pidgeot's Pokeball and a Majestic Pokemon came out.

The Brother sister duo looked at the newly emerged Pidgeot and were speechless.

Mateo "Ash how many pokemon do you have."

Ash counted his fingers and before he could speak dexter spoke.

Dexter "Fourteen Pokemons."

Ash nodded "Fourteen."

Mateo "But Trainers can only use six pokemons right."

Ash "That is a battle rule you can carry as much pokemons you want."

Mateo nodded.

Misty "Guys don't dilly dally here and walk."

Ash "Okay."

And then they walked towards the entrance of the cave and went inside.

Inside the cave was a crystal clear pond of water.

Ash looked at it "Wow is it a lake made of crystal."

As he was admiring it a roar sounded and a huge crystalline figure appeared out from the lake and stared cautiously at Ash.

Ash smiled "Hey Big guy I mean no harm."

Crystal Onix seemed to understand and roared in response.

Mateo was just staring at the Crystal Onix from the start.

But when it roared he was scared.

Misty was too dazzled by Crystal Onix's beauty.

Tracey had already started to draw.

Marissa was clam but her eyes were focused at one person in front of them.

Ash was staring eye to eye at Crystal Onix.

Ash then spoke "Hey Big guy so how do you do."

Onix "ixxxxxx."

Ash too understood some thing and continued.

"Will you mind to follow me."

Onix was startled and then focused at Pikachu on Ash's shoulder and felt his aura and made a decision and then roared at him.

Pikachu "Pika Pikachu."

Ash "Oh you want an equality battle with Pikachu."

Onix nodded.

Ash "Good Pikachu you know what to do further."

Pikachu nodded and jumped into the field and floated above the crystal lake.

Marissa clearly redefined the types of trainers in her mind after this.

Then she looked at Misty and asked "Misty Does Ash always do like this."

Misty "What means catching Pokemons yes Leaving Pikachu who was his starter all his pokemons either came to him or they agreed to come with him he didn't force anyone."

Marissa "He is weird."

Misty "Yup you will find his real weirdness on the festival of the beast of the sea."

Marissa eyebrows were raised "Means."

Misty smirked "You will understand and his is just ten remember."

Marissa "…"

"Ten."

"Yup"

"Really"

"Yup���

"blahblah."

The battle had already started and Ash was surprised as Crystal Onix suddenly disappeared.

Ash "Is it ghost, Psychic type no I can fell its aura but cannot see it Pikachu at your left."

Pikachu too felt it and slammed his iron tail at his left and a clank sounded.
