Chapter 118: Gift of Life

Inside the cabin, a Meadow Plate rested on the table. Summer silently gazed at it, contemplating how to handle this mysterious plate with its unique powers.

The most common Pokémon in Sunset Forest were Grass-types, and the environment of Sunset Forest was largely connected to Grass-types. Even most of Summer's own Pokémon were Grass-types.

However, the plate before him was insufficient for his needs. He couldn't very well cut it into several pieces and scatter them throughout Sunset Forest, could he?

A green light burst from Summer's hands, and the plate on the table emitted a green glow simultaneously.

Some of the light flowed into his body, while the rest spread throughout the cabin, seeping through the gaps and drifting away. A shocked Summer pushed open the door.

Green light filled the clear sky, descending to the ground, nurturing the forest. The air was filled with a vibrant energy, even revitalizing trees that were on the verge of death.

Grass-type Pokémon living in Sunset Forest were surprised by this sudden blessing, then showed expressions of gratitude.

Rillaboom, who was teaching Ogerpon how to use Grassy Slide, looked up at the brilliant green light in the sky. Undoubtedly, it was the power of life.

This glow would significantly enhance the vitality of the forest it called home, which was certainly a good thing for Sunset Forest.

Is this Summer's doing? In Rillaboom's memory, only Summer could perform such miracles.

Ogerpon felt extremely comfortable and excitedly ran around, then immediately thought of Summer, wanting him to see this magical scene.

Lotad's evolution at Misty Lake wasn't unique. At the same time, many Grass-type Pokémon in Sunset Forest evolved, stimulated by the abundant life energy, ushering in a new stage of life.

Shroomish, hidden in the decaying leaves, glowed and suddenly found its perspective rising and body becoming lighter. The newly evolved Breloom swayed, then swiftly threw a punch.

The powerful punch was swift as lightning. Breloom had finally gained the strength it had always dreamed of, thanks to this miraculous blessing.

Bounsweet, resting on Tropius's head, glowed. Its green cap resembled twin tails, its white fruits like a dancing dress, and its large, shiny, purple-red eyes sparkled.

It had transformed into Steenee.

The evolved Steenee looked excited. Now, it could explore other parts of Sunset Forest because it had evolved.

Tropius was happy for it but also felt a tinge of loneliness, like a parent watching their child grow up. If Steenee wanted to leave the rainforest, it would follow. Definitely not because it was worried.

"This is certainly beneficial for Sunset Forest, but that voice..." Summer felt a bit uneasy but couldn't pinpoint why.

At that moment, the forest ranger assistant's voice chimed in, bringing more good news.

"Alright, time to start making bracelets or similar items for everyone. After all, even though the gems are small, they still need bracelets to wear them."
