EPISODE 19: Sorting the truth from the lie!

I ran to Natallie as fast as I could. Zorua felt dizzy earlier, something's probably not right. "Hang in there Zorua!" I told as I became worried about Zorua's condition, I took her to the lobby where Ms. Natallie always stayed.

"Ms. Natallie! Ms. Natallie!" I rushed towards the counter with Zorua in my hands.

"Oh my, Kalem? Is there anything wrong?" Natallie puzzled.

"You have to help me! Zorua said that she's feeling dizzy, and by the way she looks... I feel like something terrible has happened while me and riolu were taking a nap!"

"Oh my! Blissey!" Nattalie called.

Bliss Blissie?

"Please bring Zorua to the clinic for me."

I gave Zorua to Blissey while Natallie rushed into her closet and got some supplies.

"Kalem, you take a seat first while I check on Zorua." She instructed as she rushed towards the clinic. On the other hand, I started to get anxious about Zorua.

"I hope Zorua would be fine..." I whispered softly.

"Kalem, awhile ago before we took a nap, I saw Zorua... It was like something was bothering her mind!" Riolu explained.

"B... But what? What could be bothering her?" I puzzled as I started to sob.

Riolu tried to wipe the tears out of my eyes. "Don't worry Kalem, Zorua will be fine."

"Kalem?" Glade noticed me in the lobby and approached me.

"Wh... What happened to you? Did something go wrong?"

"Zorua is in the clinic... She felt dizzy and weak." I explained.

Natallie rushed out of the clinic with Blissey.

"Kalem, I have good and bad news about Zorua"

"What happened Ms. Natallie?"

"Just come and take a look!"

I rushed with Natallie inside the clinic. I totally forgot that Glade was there. "But Kalem! Where are you going?" Glade queried.

I saw Zorua sleeping again peacefully and quiet which gave me relief.

"So Ms. Natallie, what news do you have to tell me?"

"Which one do you want me to say first, the good news or the bad news?"

"The good news first please," I begged

"The good news is, that Zorua is recovering well. She had a mild Pokèsomnium which happens to a Pokèmon if it experiences a very bad nightmare."

"So meaning to say, when Zorua woke up... It was because of a nightmare."

"Yes I believe"

"And what's the bad news Ms. Natallie?"

"I saw a necklace around Zorua's neck. I couldn't remove it... It seemed like it was placed there into Zorua's neck permanently."

"Huh? How come I didn't notice that?" I asked myself.

I looked closer at Zorua's necklace. It seems to have seven rings surrounding a Pokèmon.

"Thanks Natallie for your help"

"No problem Kalem!"

I returned Zorua to her Pokèball and went out of the clinic.

"Kalem! What happened?" Glade rushed towards me.

"Zorua's fine..." I said solemnly.

"But where are you going?" Glade asked.

"To my room..."

I walked slowly as I reached my room.

I released Zorua out from her Pokēball. I started to ask questions.

"Are you hiding something from me?" I puzzled.

"No, I'm not hiding anything Kalem."

"Then where did that bracelet come from? I didn't see that before."

Zorua remembered what the voice said to her about the seven visions of truth. On of the ring must be activated tonight. Zorua remembered.

"I don't know how Kalem... I just saw it on me..." Zorua explained.

Then all of a sudden a ring started to dispatch from the necklace and floated above.

Me, Zorua, and Riolu were in awe. The ring got bigger and bigger.

"Wh... What kind of none sense is this?" I asked Zorua.

"I... I don't know Kalem... I'm telling the truth." Zorua lied. She knew that if she told me what was happening, her whole mission will fail.

"Then a shadow filled the ring. Zorua was so scared that she hid behind my legs.

Glade entered my room. It was my fault since I forgot to close my door. He was going to ask me about Zorua, but when he entered the ring, caught Glade's attention.

"Kalem, what's this?" He wondered.

"I don't know... Something must be going on! The ring came from Zorua's necklace. "

"Necklace? But Zorua doesn't have a necklace." Glade wondered.

"Even Zorua herself doesn't know where the necklace came from"

We watched the shadow inside the ring... Something suddenly appeared in the ring.

"Is that mother and father?" I wondered.

"And look, there's my father and mother arguing with your mom and father."

Zorua told to her mind "This must be the first vision of truth that the voice showed me."

"But why would they be arguing?" Both of us watched.

"We must hurry now Vernal! Before its too late!" I heard my father talking to Glade's father from the ring.

"The lab is about to explode, we must leave now!" I heard my mother talking to Glade's mother.

"But where would we go?" Vernal, the father of Glade asked.

"To the cavern of the deep, its the safest place is known in this region!" My father explained.

"Wait, our parents knew that the lab was about to explode?" We puzzled.

"Why? Why did they not tell us about this?" Glade wondered.

"But how could we go to the cavern of the deep" Phoena, Glade's mother asked.

"Follow me!" My father ordered.

They rushed outside the room and for a moment, the lab was silent. Then a big bang occurred.

The scenario turned into a shadow and the first golden ring shrank and was lost forever.

"Th... That means...." I started to think.

"Our parents could still be alive!" I told Glade.

"Why do you think so?" Glade queried.

"Our parents knew that the lab was about to explode..." I explained.

"And they did mention something about a cavern of the deep," Glade added.

"Meaning... They knew where to go. They planned everything." I added.

"But our parents are not villains, they're good people," Glade added.

"We have to find them..." I suggested.

"What do you mean to find them? Find our parents?" Glade wondered.

"Yeah! They're alive, there's a reason why that golden ring showed us what happened."

"And that was too find them!" Glade added.

"Do you think the headmaster would believe us?" I asked.

"She must! Come on let's go and tell the headmaster!" Glade said as he rushed out of the room.

"Glade, wait for me..."

Me, Riolu, Zorua, and Glade ran to the headmaster's office. We explained everything to the headmaster. We explained about the golden ring, the lab, and our parents.

"Please headmaster, you have to allow us to search for our parents!" Glade begged.

"And what proof do you have that you're telling the truth?" the headmaster asked.

"We wouldn't come here if it was a lie, and why would a golden ring show us something like that if it was false?" I argued.

"And where did the golden ring come from?" the headmaster asked.

"Kalem, show Zorua's necklace"

"Oh your right Glade!"

I lifted Zorua and showed the headmaster the necklace.

She was in awe. It seems like the Pokemon with, before 7 now 6 rings left was familiar to Ms. Beatrice.

"So it is the time..." She whispered in her head.

"Pack your stuff, then tomorrow morning you both can leave..." The headmaster said solemnly.

"But why do you look sad headmaster?" Glade asked.

"I... I... just remembered something that's all... Don't forget to sleep early so you can leave early tomorrow." The headmaster explained.

We were about to leave, when suddenly the headmaster called me. "Wait Kalem!"

"I'll wait for you outside K Kalem?"

"Alright Glade..."

"What do you want to tell me headmaster?"

"Kalem... This is your mother's credit card." the headmaster's eyes were in tears.

"She told me to give it to you, when the time is right..." The headmaster added.

"So you knew that my parents and Glade's parents were still alive?"

"I hope... I hope you and Glade are correct." Ms. Beatrice added as she sobbed.

"I miss your mother, she was my best friend... and I want you to find her... Together with your father and Glade's parents."

"I won't disappoint you Ms. Beatrice!" I exclaimed.

"And here... This is your mother's Pokedex. She gave it to me before the incident, she asked me to give it to you when the time is right."

"I figured, that this is the time to give you your mother's Pokedex." Ms. Beatrice added.

I marveled at my mother's Pokedex and her credit card. I started to sob as I remembered them. "We will find you mother... father..." I said to my mind.

As I was about to leave my room, the headmaster called me again. "Oh Kalem, I almost forgot... Why don't you collect gym badges then compete at the Pokemon league while finding your parents?"

"I will Ms. Beatrice... And when we meet again, I want to battle you!" I exclaimed.

"I'll be waiting for you!" The headmaster said.

"So Kalem, you ready for tomorrow?" Glade asked.

"The headmaster gave me my mother's Pokedex and her credit card. Of course I'm ready! and as we find our parents, I will register for the Pokemon league, get all 8 gym badges and achieve my dream! Of course I'm ready for tomorrow Right Riolu?"

"Your right Kalem, wherever you go I'll be with you!"

"And Zorua, since your new here, A Pokemon league is a tournament for the toughest of the tough! A tournament for those who collected all 8 gym badges! So what do you say Zorua, do you want to fight alongside me and Riolu?"

"Of course Kalem!" Zorua answered.

"We better tell Zhery about this..." Glade instructed.

"Yeah, its gonna break her heart if we left without telling her," I added.

We went to Zhery's room and told her about me and Glade's plan. We were surprised that Zhery smiled and ask.

"Adventure? Journey? Really?"

"Yes, me and Glade are off to find our parents and I was planning to compete at the Pokemon league."

"Can I come? Please?" Zhery pleaded.

"You want to join us on our journey?" Glade wondered,

"But you have to ask permission from your mother" I bargained.

"It it's ok..." the headmaster walked into her daughter's room.

"Mom? You were eavesdropping?"

"I knew Kalem and Glade would tell you about this... And I knew you were going to ask if you can come with them."

The headmaster began to sob.

Zhery went close to her mother and hugged her real tight."Its ok mother, I'll be fine... It's my dream to become a Pokemon doctor and to help out Pokemon who are in need."

"I know you will achieve your dream, and it is my responsibility as your mother to lead you to your dream..." Her mother cried. The headmaster gave her Pokedex and Zhery's own credit card.

"Thanks, mom, I promise to give my all!" Zhery sobbed.

"Like mother... like daughter" Glade watched Zhery and her mother hug.

"Hey Glade, Don't you have your Pokedex and credit card?" I asked.

"Of course I have one, it's in my room," Glade replied.

"Now go and pack your things, the three of you!" the headmaster ordered.

We went back to our own rooms, I gathered all my clothes and all stuff especially my family's portrait. I looked at the portrait and said. "I'm going to find your mom and dad! And I will bring you back home."
