Reunion

On the next morning, Ash took a quick stop at the blacksmith he visited yesterday and got Charizard's armor and Infernape's armband he then immediately flew over Jubilife City on Charizard's back.

Sinnoh International Airport, Jubilife City

Ash with his mask on was currently seated on the airport's lounge waiting for his flight to Kanto when suddenly he sensed a familiar presence near him.

Scanning his surroundings Ash focused on a crowd that came from the arrival zone and saw 2 women, one was a mature woman with long auburn hair and black eyes while the younger woman had honey colored her paired with her beautiful blue eyes.

Ash froze when he saw a yellow rat pokemon sitting on top of the mature woman's shoulder, a bright light flashed beside him and Bayleef who felt Ash's unstable aura rushed out immediately only to see Pikachu along with Delia Ketchum and Serena not too far away.

"Master? MASTER!!" Bayleef shouted trying to catch Ash's attention.

Ash was jolted awake from his daze and caressed Bayleef's head and said, "Thanks Bayleef, I am fine."

Bayleef sighed in relief feeling Ash's aura stabling.

Ash then took out Alakazam and said, "Alakazam, you see that woman with auburn hair right there? teleport her and me out of here."

Alakazam nodded and his spoon started shining with purple hue, *Bzzzt!*

Delia who was walking alongside Serena and Pikachu suddenly disappeared from her spot.

"Ah! Mrs. Ketchum?! Mrs. Ketchum where are you?!" Serena started panicking while Pikachu who fell down also frantically scanned his surrounding trying to look for Delia.

On the roof of the Sinnoh Internation Airport, Ash and Delia appeared simultaneously shocking Delia when she landed her gaze towards a masked man standing in front of her.

But as soon as she focused her attention on the man Delia took gasped and covered her mouth in shock, she slowly approached the masked man and gave him a tight, hug tears were flowing down her eyes.

"My baby, where have you been all these years? I really thought that you were gonna disappear like your father and never come back." Delia said with an aggrieved voice.

Ash took off his mask and hugged his mother back, "I told you that I will be training for a couple of years right? and I am here already so need to be worried about me."

The mother and son kept hugging each other for a few moments when suddenly Delia stepped back and started berating Ash.

"Why am I the only one here? why didn't you also bring Serena didn't you know that she always visited the house just to ask if I have any news regarding your whereabouts?"

Ash scratched the back of his head and didn't know how to answer his mom's question.

Delia kept on reprimanding Ash when suddenly her son aura spiked when she mentioned about Pikachu, she looked at her son who suddenly looked foreign, and asked in a worried tone.

"Are you alright Ash? I know that you hold a grudge against Pikachu but can you find it in your heart to forgive him?" As Delia asked this question 5 bright lights appeared beside her son.

Charizard, Infernape, Samurott, Garchomp, and Sceptile all stood beside her son overwhelming her with their auras. Alakazam and Bayleef who was already outside also stood beside the group forming a semi-circle behind Ash.

Ash looked at his pokemons and turned his attention towards his mom and said, "The 6 of them and Bayleef all stayed behind with me through thick and thin, they were there when all the others left, they were there when I was betrayed again and again. when I almost stopped pursuing my dream they were the ones who stubbornly supported me and told me that they will do whatever it takes to help me achieve my dream. Mom, they are the ones that never stopped believing in me so it will be unfair for them if I will just accept those that left me when they were the ones who stayed with me until the very end."

Delia sighed hearing her son's words and approached her son's pokemon, "Thank you for staying with my son. I know that he might be a handful sometimes so please bear with him."

Bayleef stepped forward and nuzzled her head at Delia's hand sending her a telepathic message, "Don't worry, we will never let Master suffer with us around."

Delia was momentarily shocked then smiled at Bayleef and said with gratitude, "Thank you."

She then turned her attention back towards her son and gave him a tight hug and teased, "Seeing you all grown up now when will you start dating? I met a lot of your friends and I never knew that my son would be such a playboy out there. Imagine my shock when I saw May, Dawn, and Serena all beautiful ladies living in different regions."

Ash could only smile wearily hearing this and replied in a helpless voice, "Mom, you don't need to worry about your son's romantic life."

But Delia shook her head and said glaring at Ash, "Don't worry you say? how could I not worry when 3 beautiful ladies always visit me just to ask where my handsome son is every single year."

Ash was really helpless and could only concede in defeat, "I understand Mom but can you please let me achieve my goal first before rushing me to have a girlfriend?"

Hearing this Delia nodded in satisfaction and asked, "So seeing that you are here means that you are leaving Sinnoh?"

"That's right Mom, I will be going to Kanto for a while and return here to participate in the Sinnoh League." Ash replied not even hiding anything from his beloved mother.

"That is good then, I will still have some time and travel Sinnoh along with Serena and Dawn," Delia said not even caring what her son will be doing in Kanto.

The two of them kept talking for a few more minutes when Ash said, "Mom, looks like the police are already here and trying to find you."

Delia rolled her eyes and reprimanded her son, "Who told you to kidnap your own Mother?! go on then, before they think that you are some bad guy trying to hurt this beautiful woman."

Ash chuckled then gestured to Alakazam who immediately teleported him out, a few moments later a group of cops arrived at the rooftop and saw Delia staring at the sky.

"Are you Delia Ketchum? may I know what happened?" Officer Jenny approached Delia and asked.

Delia kept on staring at the sky and replied turning her attention at Officer Jenny, "Nothing happened Officer, someone I knew teleported me here using his pokemon so I am sorry for causing a disturbance."

Officer Jenny sighed in relief and took Delia back for a few more questions, Ash who was currently floating in the sky smiled seeing his mother leaving.
