Destroy The Airship

Lightning Island.

"Will should be in this direction."

Hisoka was slowly walking through a forest. His eyes were alert, keeping watch over his surroundings. Every so often, he would look down at his phone.

"Looks like Will has found a safe place."

He made his way forward while following the red dot on the screen. Walking next to him was Gardevoir. Sometimes, she would release a pulse of psychic waves in a large circle to make sure that the area was safe.

"Hisoka, I sense a couple of people coming this way."

Suddenly, Gardevoir's hurried voice rang in his mind.

Hearing that, he and Gardevoir ran to the trees and hid behind a thick bush.

Just a minute later, a group of people wearing Team Aqua clothing appeared in their view. They were chatting among themselves as they walked toward them.

Hisoka and Gardevoir held their breaths as they waited for the group to pass them. As the seconds ticked by, they were worried that they would be discovered.

Only after the group had left did they finally sigh in relief.

Phew!

It was getting dangerous for them to stay on Lightning Island. They had already met the three groups from Team Aqua on their way here. Thankfully, they hadn't been found yet.

If Gardevoir hadn't been scanning the surroundings with her psychic power, they would already have been discovered by Team Aqua long ago.

The entire island had been locked down by Team Aqua. Just a few minutes ago, he received a text from Will that more than a small airship had just landed near the center of the island. It seemed Team Aqua was going to start their plan soon.

'I hope Doran reached the island safely.'

He thought. Doran was a reckless guy. He worried that Team Aqua might catch him.

But his worry was obviously unnecessary because Doran was already waiting for him when he reached Will's location.

The place Will chose to hide was quite good. There was an opening on the wall hidden behind a large rock. At least Team Aqua wouldn't find them for now.

As soon as they entered the narrow gap, they found Will turning toward them while sitting next to a Slowbro.

After they reunited with each other, they sat on the ground in a circle. Empty bags of food and water bottles were left on the ground. They were resting their tired feet after finishing their lunch.

"Team Aqua is an international criminal group. Their main base of operation is in Hoenn. This man is their leader, Archie. He is about forty years old and is a genuine Elite Four powerhouse trainer. Team Aqua's main goal is not a secret in Hoenn. They believe that the ocean is the birthplace of life, so they have always wanted to obtain the power of Kyogre, known in mythology as a Pokemon that expanded the sea. They don't have much interest in other legendary Pokemon."

"Kyogre, huh? So why would they come all the way to the Orange Islands to catch three legendary birds? That doesn't make sense."

Will asked.

"There is only one answer to that."

He raised his finger index finger.

"Someone hired them."

"Who?"

"Lawrence III, a rich upstart from Hoenn. In the last ten years, this guy has earned a lot of money by investing in many different companies. Right now, he is one of the richest people in the world and one of the shareholders of the industry-leading Devon Corporation."

Will rubbed his chin in thought.

"So Team Aqua was hired by Lawrence. But why would a rich man like him want to capture the three legendary birds? Let alone colluding with a criminal group like Team Aqua? It won't do him any good."

"Who knows."

He shrugged in reply.

"But from what I know, this guy is an avid collector. Maybe he just wants to collect Legendary Pokemon? Besides, there is no law saying that you can't catch Legendary Pokemon.

"Have you seen that airship in the sky?"

He pointed to the airship on the screen.

"Team Aqua does not have that kind of financial resources to make that large airship. Based on what I found, this guy had come to the Orange Islands as early as a year ago. I'm afraid most of the higher-ups in the Orange League had already been bought by him. So we might have a small problem."

"What should we do now? It seems we can do nothing to stop them."

Doran said in an annoyed tone.

Everyone fell silent as they looked at the ground, deep in thought.

"Actually, we don't need to care about Lawrence. We only need to capture Team Aqua. The Hunter Association will handle the rest for us."

"I agree."

Doran said aloud, followed by a nod from Will.

"Let's get ready. We need to check out the current situation first."

Hisoka replied as he jumped to his feet.

"Is this man Archie?"

A few minutes after they left their hiding spot, Will came up to him, took out a photo from his pocket, and showed it to him.

He took the photo and looked at it closely. The photo was a little blurry, but he could still see the man's face in the picture.

He then handed the photo back to Will while shaking his head.

"That is not Archie. If I'm not mistaken, this guy is called Matt. He is one Team Aqua high-ranking member. His rank is second only to Archie."

Will nodded slightly and put the photo back in his pocket.

"When Team Aqua attacked us before, I took a photo of him secretly. It looks like he is the one in charge of these Team Aqua members."

After they reached the area where Zapdos and Moltres were fighting, Will took out two Xatu. Doran brought out a Heracross and a Machamp. Meanwhile, Hisoka released his trusty partner, Gardevoir and Weavile.

Then, they found higher ground and made their way to the top. After they climbed up the hill, they hid behind the trees and looked at the sky.

At this time, the battle between Moltres and Zapdos had reached its peak.

After being attacked by Moltres repeatedly, Zapdos had finally given up trying to persuade its friend. It no longer held back its attack. After a few rounds of Thunderbolt, Moltres was knocked down to the ground.

"Over there!"

Doran's shout snapped them out of their reverie. They turned toward him and saw him pointing to the sky.

Everyone looked up and saw the thunderclouds in the sky getting smaller before they completely disappeared. A large airship finally appeared in everyone's sight.

"Fuck, it's so big!"

Everyone took a deep breath after seeing the various weaponry on the airship.

"We must find a way to get rid of this airship.

Hisoka told everyone.

"Let's ignore Zapdos and Moltres for now. While Team Aqua is preoccupied with them, we need to find a way to get into the airship."

Will nodded silently. To capture Team Aqua, they didn't have any other choice except to destroy the airship.

"But how are we going to get to the ship?"

Doran asked in a whisper.

"Can we use flying Pokemon?"

Hisoka shook his head.

"No. It's too dangerous. I think those cannons are automatic weapons. They will shoot us if we fly to the ship."
