EPISODE 5: Response of the Pokemon International Police!*

The Jazz music meets the morning air and the Pokemon like old acquaintances. They know how to play nicely, how to bring harmony to this post-dawn quiet. The notes rise in the dampness, the soft breeze, and are somehow different than they would be in the heat of the day that will follow.

On his desk, the detective does his daily work, typing articles, reports, about the latest crimes happening globally. Although, for the past days, and even until now, his mind is bothered by Jenny's sudden resignation. Jenny is always loyal to the Pokemon International Police, always there whenever criminality is at its crescendo.

"What could be wrong?" he thought to himself while typing in his laptop. As a detective, he can say, something peculiar is going on with Jenny, not to mention she had completely ignored the detective for a full year and contacted him during the time she wanted to resign.

Bothered, Detective Looker couldn't type properly. He stopped for a moment, taking a sip from his brewed coffee, a classic favorite of every detective. He wondered what Jenny is up to, and he also fears that Jenny might be in his watch list soon in case she does anything wrong.

Suddenly, someone knocks on his door. "Come in." said, the detective. It was no other than Emma, the detective's assistant, or more like a detective's pet. She came to the detective to deliver something important, it was a note from one of the branches of the Pokemon International Police in the Sinnoh Region.

Sinnoh is known as the birthplace of the Pokemon International Police, having more than eighty branches in the region, including ten located at the largest city of the Sinnoh.

"Detective, I have a letter for you." said, Emma with her smile as she placed the letter atop the detective's desk.

"And from who this time?"

"It came from one of our branches in the Sinnoh Region. You know me, detective, I love taking glimpses at mails and letters, and based on what I've read, it was some sort of confirmation about a rumor that engulfed the entire region. For now, they remain secretive but witnesses of the said organization are inclining every day.

And so, the Pokemon International Police of the Sinnoh Region is requesting for your appearance to investigate things further."

"So it's true then. Is that all?"

"Some minor details about the said organization. Some officers reported that their leader is a businessman who goes by name of..."

"Of?"

"Hmm, I don't know either. It wasn't stated, detective."

"I see... Thank you for your help, Emma."

"No problem, Detective." she grinned and slowly left the room when suddenly, the detective called her name again, halting her for a moment.

"Is there anything you want me to do?" asked, Emma with curiosity.

"Well, I want you to come with me to the Sinnoh Region. You know? Helping out important investigations."

"R-really?!" exuberance was boiling, her smile was broadening.

"Of course. You see, we recently lost an agent who currently is in the Sinnoh Region and I'm having double-thoughts about her resignation excuse."

"You want me to track her down?"

"Not quite. You'll just be there to report things to me in case you notice anything peculiar. Sinnoh is a vast region, and who knows what other organizations lies there aside from those pesky galactic nerds. Luckily, Team Rocket does not have any branches established there, so this is a big win for us."

"I would be glad to work alongside you, detective." Emma leaped with joy. Her heart was dazzling with ecstasy, giving the detective her largest smile yet.

"Now go on and prepare your things, meanwhile, I will be arranging a meeting with the champion of Sinnoh."

"C-Cynthia?!"

"You're correct." Detective Looker uttered. From there, she rushed out of the detective's workspace and jolted to her room, dreaming of seeing the wonders of Sinnoh. Emma, a passionate woman who was once a gang member, how will things play out with her job in the Sinnoh Region?
