Chapter 190: Aerodactyl and Charmeleon

"But... this Aerodactyl is really good..." Knowing that Pikachu and Ash were fine, Misty turned her attention to Aerodactyl, who was fighting Charmeleon.

She was well aware of Pikachu's strength, but facing Aerodactyl, it became physically exhausted, which was unbelievable.

"It should be Pressure. Summoning Thunderbolt requires a lot of physical strength. Pikachu is already struggling. Under Pressure, it needs to consume double the physical strength, which led to this situation," Brock analyzed.

Brock remembered the reminder from the Alliance staff at the cave entrance.

"This is Take Down!" Aerodactyl's attack attracted Brock's attention, and after seeing the move used by Aerodactyl, Brock immediately reminded Ash.

"I understand!" Of course, Ash knew that Aerodactyl's move was Take Down, so he didn't intend to let Charmeleon face it head-on, "Charmeleon, use Smokescreen, dodge the attack!"

Aerodactyl once again used Take Down and rushed towards Charmeleon. It wanted to let Charmeleon know, and let the Pokémon watching around know, that the Totem in the cave was invincible!

"Use Flamethrower!" Ash's pupils constricted suddenly. Now Charmeleon had no time to dodge, so Charmeleon could only use Flamethrower to meet it, even if the Attribute was restrained!

"Fire———!" Charmeleon spat up hot, pale Gymen flames from his mouth, and a slight Gymen fire glowed in his eyes. The inheritance in his body continued to grow ginger at this moment, penetrating into the depths of Charmeleon's body!

Aerodactyl gave an unfathomable pause, but in the next moment, it rushed towards the flame even more crazily. The translucent energy layer knocked the flame away, passing by its sides!

"Fire——!" Charmeleon continued to increase energy output. The flame became more and more condensed, and the Gymen part became thicker and thicker, just like the fire of the sun in the sky!

"Bang!" But Charmeleon's attack still couldn't intercept Aerodactyl. Breaking through the flames, Aerodactyl bumped into Charmeleon's body, slamming him hard into the rock wall behind!

Aerodactyl receded after the force returned from the shock, and a hole was knocked out of the rock wall. In the hole, Charmeleon leaned against the rock wall weakly. Although he hadn't lost his fighting ability, his physical strength was already on the verge of its limit.

"Roar-!" Seeing the miserable situation of Charmeleon, Aerodactyl let out a mighty roar, and his excitement was fully revealed. In the entire cave, seeing Aerodactyl, the Pokémon trembled and dared not look directly!

"Charmeleon!" Ash clenched his teeth, took out the Poké Ball, and wanted to take back Charmeleon, but Aerodactyl seemed to notice that. With a slight sideways movement, he was between the two, preventing the light from the Poké Ball from falling on Charmeleon.

"Starmie, use Bubble Beam!" Misty stood up at this moment and directed Starmie around her to attack Aerodactyl.

She knew it was hard to beat Aerodactyl with Starmie's strength, but at least she wanted to buy time for Ash and Charmeleon!

"Onix, you go too! Use Bind!" Brock also immediately commanded his Onix to step forward and apply pressure!

Water-type energy surged, and Starmie's gemstone emitted a bright light, forming a multitude of bubbles that shot straight towards Aerodactyl. Alongside the Bubble Beam, Onix rushed fearlessly towards Aerodactyl, using the Bubble Beam as cover.

But Aerodactyl had no intention of dodging. Facing the incoming Bubble Beam, it unleashed its Rock-type energy, condensing it into solid rocks to meet the attack head-on!

"Boom!" The two attacks collided in mid-air, producing a violent explosion that impacted Onix, pushing it back several meters before it managed to stop itself.

Taking advantage of the moment, Ash, under the cover of the explosion's impact, ran towards Charmeleon. Dodging Aerodactyl's position, he took out his Poké Ball and aimed it at Charmeleon!

But Aerodactyl had been keeping an eye on Ash, recognizing him as the Trainer of Pikachu and Charmeleon. Seeing Ash's movement, it immediately rushed over, its sharp claws gleaming menacingly, ready to strike Ash.

"Ash!" Misty, witnessing this scene, exclaimed in horror. Brock looked on with wide eyes, knowing that if Aerodactyl's attack landed, Ash wouldn't survive.

In that moment, they forgot that Ash was guarded by Marshadow!

Marshadow peeked out from Ash's shadow but paused, its attention drawn to Charmeleon. It sensed drastic changes occurring within Charmeleon's body!

"Roooar!" Charmeleon, seeing Ash's life in danger, let out a furious roar. The inheritance within its body surged, releasing a tremendous amount of energy that coursed through its being.

Driven by this power, Charmeleon took a step forward, leaped high, and landed in front of Ash. The flame on its tail turned completely Gym, burning intensely and illuminating the entire cave!

Sensing the terrifying aura emanating from Charmeleon, Aerodactyl hesitated, stepping back in fear and disbelief.

The Gymen flame soared, extending from Charmeleon's tail and forming a Gymen sphere that enveloped its entire body. Slowly, it floated towards the top of the cave.

With just a slight touch, the rock on the cave's ceiling melted instantly, turning into lava. But before it could fall, the intense heat vaporized it completely.

The Gymen sphere didn't continue to rise but stopped at the cave's apex. At that moment, it shone as dazzlingly and majestically as the sun soaring in the sky!
