CHAPTER 115 – SEMIFINAL, ASH VS GARY (PART THREE)

In the previous chapter we see how Ash begins his battle against Gary and at first seemed to have an advantage and even weakened 3 of his Pokémon, but after all Gary was also very strong and had equalized the scoreboard, now it is Mew's turn which shocked everyone in the stadium and even those who were not there, luckily, Giovanni sent several of his best agents to protect him in secret...

After a couple of minutes people started talking again, it's amazing that a single Pokémon silenced more than 70,000 people at the same time for a couple of minutes.

"Don't be surprised, so far no one is known who has been able to catch a Mew, I don't know how you did it but you are the first to do it and probably the only one in history, it will be a pleasure to battle against a Mew" – said Gary who seemed to have noticed my surprise.

"Anyway, let's start the battle" - I sighed.

"Let's get started, Armarouge use Energy Ball!"

A green sphere formed and shot out towards Mew.

"Ddoge it and use Shadow Ball!"

Mew easily dodged Armarouge's attack and quickly sent a Shadow Ball towards him.

"Destroy his attack using Flamethrower!"

Armarouge launched a powerful fire attack that collided with Mew's Shadow Ball, at first Mew seemed to have the advantage, but with effort Armarouge managed to destroy his Shadow Ball.

"Use Shadow Ball again!"

"Take advantageof that and use Armor Cannon!"

Armarouge joined its two arms forming a kind of cannon from which came a powerful torrent of flames larger and more powerful than its previous Flamethrower.

This attack was so strong that in an instant he had already pushed Mew's Shadow Ball destroying it in the process and hitting Mew.

"Are you okay Mew?" – I asked worriedly.

Mew looked at me and smiled at me.

"Okay because right now we're going to finish this battle, Mew use Shadow Ball!"

Mew formed a Shadow Ball in his hands.

"Use Flamethrower and let's get this over with!"

Armarouge relaunched his attack which was dodged by Mew who launched his Shadow Ball.

"Use Protect!"

Armarouge protected itself, however, the Shadow Ball hit the ground causing the dust to rise.

"MEW'S ATTACK HAS MISS, I WONDER WHAT PARTICIPANT ASH IS THINKING NOW!"

"Use Shadow Ball continuously!"

Mew began throwing several Shadow Balls which all hit in front of Armarouge.

"Let's finish this, Armarouge use Armor Cannon!"

Armarouge launched his attack on Mew, but he already had this planned.

"Use Protect!"

Mew protected herself by wrapping herself in a pink bubble, apparently his Protect was different from the rest of Pokémon, something curious, don't you think?

After protecting himself, Mew continued to throw Shadow Ball until he caused a huge smokescreen completely blinding Armarouge.

"Now Mew!"

Mew quickly flew to the smoke screen and dived into it disappearing from sight.

"Damn, Armarouge use Protect!"

Armarouge protected himself, but no attack reached him, at least for the moment.

"Wait for his barrier to finish and use Shadow Ball!"

Mew waited for the Protect to finisg and threw a Shadow Ball causing Armarouge to shoot out of the smokescreen and weaken in the process.

"IMPRESSIVE STRATEGY OF THE PARTICIPANT ASH WHO BLINDED HIS OPPONENT TO BE ABLE TO IMPACT HIS ATTACK WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO PROTECT HIMSELF, ALTHOUGH I STILL WONDER HOW MEW WAS ABLE TO SEE SOMETHING IN THERE, AS EXPECTED OF THE RAREST MYTHICAL POKÉMON OF ALL!"

It has nothing to do with that, this is a strategy that we practiced on numerous occasions, the reason why Mew could see is because his Psychic powers acted as a thermal vision, I think it is not necessary to continue explaining what happened.

"As expected from a Mew, i'm impressed" – Gary said with a smile.

"It's both of us' work, we've worked really hard during these months, haven't we?" – I said looking at Mew with a smile.

"Mew!" – nodded likewise.

"I can imagine but I must say that thanks to this battle I have discovered one thing," Gary said.

"What?" – I asked confused.

"That your Mew is not an adult, with his strength I deduce that he is a teenager, otherwise we would not have lasted long in battle" - Gary replied.

"I guess it's no use hiding it, my Mew is a teenager" – I nodded.

It is useless to hide it, and it is not that something will happen if i reveal this information.

"So since i was right, this makes our chances of victory increase, Blastoise is time to battle!"

And a strong-looking Blastoise stepped out onto the battlefield ready to win.

"Blastoise is my first Pokémon just like your Pikachu so I will warn you that we are very strong, Blastoise use Hydro Pump!"

A powerful gust of water came out of the cannons on his back and went straight towards Mew.

"Dodge it and use Psychic!"

"Use Rapid Spin and then Hydro Pump!"

Blastoise is hidden inside his shell and from the holes came powerful gusts of water that made the Psychic not impact.

"Either way as long as we're in the air you won't be able to hit us, Mew use Shadow Ball!"

"And who says we can't? Blastoise increases the speed!"

Suddenly Blastoise began to spin much faster and the next instant he turned on his side causing his water currents to propel him upwards dodging the Shadow Ball completely.

"It's been a pleasure to battle against a Mew, but it's time to end this, Blastoise use Hydro Cannon!"

"Use Energy Ball!"

Both attacks hit their respective rivals but the only one that came out weakened was Mew.

"IMPRESSIVE STRATEGY OF PARTICIPANT GARY THAT THANKS TO THE MOMENTUM OF THE RAPID SPIN AND HYDRO PUMP MADE HIS BLASTOISE FLY AND COULD IMPACT AN ATTACK ON THE MYTHICAL POKÉMON MEW, REMEMBER THAT BOTH PARTICIPANT GARY AND PARTICIPANT ASH HAVE DEFEATED 4 POKÉMON EACH LEAVING ONLY TWO!"

"Charizard I choose you!" – I said without hesitation.

Why use Charizard against Blastoise? Well, now you will see it.

"PARTICIPANT ASH'S NEXT POKÉMON IS CHARIZARD, I WONDER WHAT PARTICIPANT ASH IS PLANNING!"

"I don't know you're planning Ash, but it won't work!"

"Are you sure? We'll see!" – I said showing my Mega Bracelet.

"You're going to use the Mega Evolution!" – exclaimed Gary.

"That's how it is and now...!" – I said as I fixed my gaze on Charizard.

Charizard nodded.

"We will not give up, if the rival is strong then we will be stronger so, reach your limits and destroy them, MEGA EVOLUTION!" – I shouted.

Suddenly numerous rays began to come out of both the Key Stone and the Mega Stone, these rays were mixed enveloping Charizard in a light that when he left showed Mega-Charizard X.

"AMAZING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN PARTICIPANT ASH USED THE MEGA EVOLUTION BY MAKING HIS CHARIZARD ACQUIRE THE DRAGON TYPE, NOW BLASTOISE'S WATER ATTACKS WILL NOT BE AS EFFECTIVE AS BEFORE!"

"Since you opted for Mega Evolution then we will too!" – said Gary showing his Mega Bracelet.

Then he looked at his Blastoise and both nodded.

"Let's show our power, we will not be defeated by anything or anyone, destroy everything in your path, MEGA EVOLUTION!" – shouted Gary.

And the same phenomenon occurred only this time from the light came a Mega-Blastoise.

"IT SEEMS THAT PARTICIPANT GARY ALSO CHOSE TO USE THE MEGA EVOLUTION, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN A BATTLE IS COMING BETWEEN TWO EXTREMELY POWERFUL MEGA EVOLUTIONS!"

"Blastoise use Hydro Pump, let's finish this as soon as possible!"

Mega-Blastoise used his cannons and fired a powerful burst of water at Mega-Charizard.

"Dodge it and use Dragon Claw!"

Mega-Charizard dodged the attack and set out to hit his Dragon Claw on the enemy.

"Use Hydro Pump now that it's near!"

Damn, how can a Blastoise be so fast?

"Use Flare Blitz!"

Instead of using Dragon Claw, Mega-Charizard engulfed himself in fire and hit Mega-Blastoise's attack causing an explosion that pushed Charizard back, apparently both had suffered damage from the attack.

Suddenly, I remembered the Ash vs Gary battle in the anime, I remember that Charizard used Seismic Toss and threw Blastoise from a great height weakening him completely, I do not know if it will work for me but let's hope so.

"If you don't attack, we'll do it for you, Blastoise use Hydro Pump!"

"Charizard flies straight towards him!"

Charizard flew straight towards the Hydro Pump but when he nearly hit it, he dodged it.

Charizard grabbed Blastoise and flew out to a great height.

"Since there's no way to get out then we won't, Blastoise use Hydro-Cannon!"

Blastoise aimed his cannons at Charizard hitting his powerful attack from close range and sending him flying, but he too fell in the process causing both a smokescreen.

When she left you could see a badly injured Charizard and a weakened Blastoise.

"AMAZING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, CHARIZARD HAS MANAGED TO DEFEAT BLASTOISE AFTER THROWING HIM TO THE GROUND AT A HIGH SPEED, BUT IN RETURN, CHARIZARD RECEIVED A POWERFUL ATTACK FROM BLASTOISE LEAVING HIM EXTREMELY TIRED!"

"It's been a great battle, I must admit that you are a good trainer, however, this battle is not over yet, would you believe me if I told you that I left my best Pokémon for last?" – Gary said with a confident smile.

In other respects perhaps he could lie, but he means it.

"I believe you, but now I wanted to see that Pokémon" - I nodded.

"Get ready, Zapdos I choose you!" – said Gary.

Suddenly, a Zapdos, one of Kanto's legendary birds, stood in front of me as little lightning bolts surrounded it.

"ZAP!" - roared Zapdos.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN I HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW, I HAVE SEEN MANY LEGENDARY AND MYTHICAL POKÉMON IN THIS INDIGO LEAGUE, BUT I DO NOT CEASE TO BE AMAZED AT SUCH FACTS, THE PARTICIPANT GARY JUST TOOK TO THE FIELD ZAPDOS THE INCARNATION OF LIGHTNING AND ONE OF THE LEGENDARY BIRDS NATIVE TO KANTO, ZAPDOS HAS BEEN SIGHTED ON MANY OCCASIONS BUT NO ONE EVER CAUGHT ONE... SO FAR, I'M THRILLED TO BE A COMMENTATOR THIS YEAR TO SEE ALL OF THIS, BUT I ALSO WONDER ONE THING...WHAT POKÉMON WILL PARTICIPANT ASH USE TO DEFEAT THAT ZAPDOS?!"

"You are not the only one who has rare Pokémon, I admit that with Mew you beat me, but I am not far behind either, I acquired an egg a while ago and from it came Zapdos, since then I have trained it and as a result we are unbeatable, you can not overcome this barrier" - said Gary.

What can't I overcome? We'll see.

"Charizard comes back you've done great!" – I said returning Charizard to his Pokéball.

Then I took out my Love Ball.

"Let's see if this Pokémon can surpass you or not, Latias I choose you!" – I shouted.

And Latias went out into battle.

First of all I must say that Latias had been in the stands during the first rounds, but then I had no choice but to return her to her Pokéball, the truth is that this made her nervous but when I told her that it would only be 3 days and then I would give her a gift she calmed down and agreed to be inside her Pokéball 3 days, something I couldn't get with Pikachu.
