Ace didn't think so, he basically countered her in every way. After all, her only strat is teleporting around so Gardevoir never takes damage. The Pokemon itself isn't used to actual battle. There's a reason why she's known for being a Movie star!

In the Sinnoh region, everyone knows how strong Cynthia is! It's like a crushing strength and that's her charm. After you get abused a few dozen times you start to enjoy it- Ahem! Ahem!

The point is; Cynthia is known for her strength while Diantha… If people didn't say she was a Champion, no one would know…

Sycamore nodded at Ace's words and asked, "By the way, I haven't asked yet. Why did you and Diantha battle? I was watching in my lab before leaving…" Ace scratched his cheek and explained the ins and outs.

Sycamore sighed and Cynthia added, "You went too far. She's still a Champion after all, being embarrassed like that…" she was a little worried, but Sycamore looked at her in surprise, "You don't know?"

Cynthia, Byron, and Bruno looked at him in confusion. Sycamore looked at Ace before smiling happily, "Ace manipulated Diantha's Live Stream and turned it into a Movie Scene." The three were dumbfounded, not to mention Ace, who looked at Sycamore, completely stunned, "Huh? How did you know?"

Sycamore sipped his coffee with a smile, "It's not hard to figure out. You yourself were the one to push the popularization of Rotom Phones, it's not a stretch to assume you have a backhand entry into other phones." Ace was dumbfounded, the main point is… He was right in a sense but it's like when you use the wrong formula to get the right answer!

Frankly speaking, Ace didn't care if his System was exposed or whatever. It had no impact on him because even if you have super mega OP pokemon, but 0 trainer skill, you would still be a bad trainer.

Not to mention, your pokemon wouldn't listen to you!

Besides, most of the time Ace is using the System to make life easier and spread out better pokemon.

By his logic, these genes would carry through generations and in the future, those useless abilities would be weeded out through breeding and evolution. So really, changing Abilities to more powerful forms was better for everyone.

He was really a saint!

Thinking about it now, if he was exposed, then maybe the alliance would demand him to produce eggs in large numbers with better abilities to kick start the weeding out process.

Which… Ace wouldn't have a problem with!

Though, he would obviously demand his own personal freedom. But even if he was forced to wander around the world, leaving eggs around, then that would also be a sort of Adventure.

Anyway, off topic, Ace looked at Sycamore and nodded, "You're right." Cynthia was stunned and smiled, "Good! Since you have no intention of replacing Diantha, it's better to save her reputation." she seemed to be relieved of her troubles and smiled happily.

Bruno shook his head and looked at his phone, "Oh, the Teaching section is coming up soon." he turned to Ace and asked, "You need a hospital?" Ace looked at him and grinned, "Why? You hurting, old man?"

Bruno chuckled and Sycamore asked in confusion, "Hospital?" Byron explained the fight and Sycamore's lips twitched.

How strange!

After chatting with Sycamore for a little longer, Bruno and Ace went to the hospital. Byron went back to the examination venue, and Cynthia went to Sycamore's lab with Sycamore to hand over the translated Unknown Runes.

A while later

They finally returned to the Examination Venue.

Ace sat down and looked at the Battles going on, sitting next to Byron as Bruno went over to the Exam Supervisors, sitting down with a bored look on his face.

Ace watched these rookie Gym Leaders teaching very seriously while battling. He smiled slightly. Especially when he saw a little girl with pink hair! He watched her teach seriously with a cute voice as the trainer opposite nodded over and over.

Ace got up and left after she was finished, finding her in the hallway. He stopped her, "Little Miss!" The little girl looked up and said, "Hello, Mister! Do you want some pointers?" Ace felt funny and he squatted down, hiding his knees and nodding, "Sure."

The little girl puffed her chest happily looking at the Mareep on the side, "Well… Your Mareep is very cute, but most of the time you shouldn't use physical attacks since her wool will absorb some power and weaken the impact. Also, it's best to use Electric Type moves and run around to take less damage. If you're fighting against Fighting types like me, then covering yourself in electricity before I attack is a good move!"

Ace nodded and smiled at her, "Your name is Maylene, right?" Maylene smiled, "No need to thank me, Mister! This is my job as a Gym Leader!" Ace chuckled and said "Ah, Teacher Maylene, you dropped this!" Maylene looked over in confusion, but she was happy to be called 'Teacher' by an adult.

Ace held out a fiery red egg and Maylene was stunned, "Huh? I didn't!" Ace handed her the egg and patted her head, "Well, finder's keepers." before walking away.

Maylene looked anxious when suddenly the egg hatched!

Maylene was dumbfounded as she looked at the Torchic, who chirped happily in her hands, nuzzling on her. Maylene looked hopeless and sighed, going to find the trainer who lost an egg.

Ace hid on the side, looking at the Torchic, who was held in Maylene's arms.

He smiled and left.

He quite liked Maylene, the funny little girl with confidence issues. Not to mention, they were in the same Region and she was a fighting type trainer… 

He returned to his seat, seeing Maylene walking around and asking if anyone left Eggs lying around. Of course, everyone here was an upstanding individual… Otherwise, would the little girl even know if someone was lying?

But it seemed that Ace didn't give her enough credit!

Maylene was followed by Riolu and looked at him after asking a person. Riolu nodded after everyone answered, meaning that the person was telling the truth. Maylene continued walking around asking people.

Ace reckoned that maybe there were some people who wanted to kidnap Maylene directly! Forget about the Torchic, the girl was really cute! Her serious face when asking people like a little adult was really lovable.

Ace thought about adopting her on the spot regardless of what her parents said, but quickly forgot about it as his name was called.
