Chapter 20 - A Celebration before Going Home

Later at a restaurant at a mall in Saint Martins, they are eating a meal that is almost like those for breakfast or dinner. Even though it's like 5 in the afternoon, they were hungry for food after all that adventure at the Safari Zone. But at least, they were more than satisfied enough that their trip to the coastal-plateau town really worth it. Rico was happy that he had a Dragon-type Pokémon in his team, while Isaiah was satisfied to have a Grass-type Pokémon, despite the fact that he wanted an Ice-type. Jonathan, sitting next to his younger brother, was satisfied that Rico and Isaiah are having a good time at the Safari Zone, extinguishing all that anxiety and doubt that causes his all-day worry. The scene at that busy restaurant can be described best like a group of office workers celebrating after accomplishing an impossible task or project. They had hot, soft, and crispy food and cold, ice cubes-filled drinks in a table for four, with the tablecloth being used on the said table has a sapphire blue, tea green, and chili red designs in criss-crossing diagonal patterns onto the bright white cloth. The tableware are made of white ceramic, and the utensils are made of steel. All of their Pokémon are of their Balls to eat up their special food.

And as they eat and drink, Rico expresses to Jonathan and Isaiah how he was so happy about his time at the Safari Zone, as well as the great time at Kawayan City, especially the time Jonathan tested his skills and strength as a Pokémon Trainer. Listening to him attentively, Jonathan smiled back in response, and answered, "You're welcome, I'm glad that you had enjoyed your time at the Safari Zone." His Greninja then responded with happy response.

Then, suddenly, Isaiah's phone rang. It was Ash. So, upon hearing his phone rang, Isaiah excused himself to Rico and Jonathan, grabbed his phone, and left the table to a quiet area of the restaurant, answering the call with, "Hi, Ash!"

Back at Kanto, Ash responded back to Isaiah brightly and positively, "Hi, brother, how are you in the Philas region?" Pikachu then responded with happy greeting.

"I'm fine, Ash, I'm having a great time here" replied back Isaiah happily, "even though I wasn't able to catch an Ice-type at the Pokémon Safari Zone." But, Ash was positive and really understand his brother's experience, telling him that it is okay to have another Pokémon other than the one he really want.

"Just do your best, okay?" Ash added with an advice. Hearing his advice, Isaiah positively nodded in agreement, answering back with, "I will, thank you." He and Ash then ended their conversation for the afternoon. After that, Isaiah went back to the table, informing that Ash was the one who called him. Rico and Jonathan are mildly surprised by that, but became positive again when they knew that Ash was just checking on them.

Later by 6:01 p.m., after taking the town's streetcar, they went to a hotel to stay for the night. Lucky for them, the hotel was on an elevated plateau next to the sandy beaches of Saint Martins that can be accessible via stairs, offering its guests an excellent and great view of the sea regardless of what floor they are on.

And at the lobby, the group asked the receptionist for a room for three. In response to that, the receptionist offered them a hotel room for three at the third floor of the hotel, complete with a hot/cold shower, air-conditioner, meal service, and a balcony that offers a great view of the beach for 750 Pokédollars a night. Thinking that is a good price for a hotel room for a night, Jonathan quickly accepted the offer, handing the receptionist cash for the hotel room. Receiving the cash, the hotel receptionist gave them the key to the said hotel room, telling them to enjoy their stay.

"Thank you," Rico positively thanked her back for the room.

Not long after, they went to the third floor via the elevator and to their room, which had a dark oak door with simple designs. Once they had unlocked the door using the key the hotel receptionist had given to them, they were mildly delighted by the look and cleanliness of the room itself. The room was clean, well-organized, and in order. The wooden beds are neat and clean, free from dust. The lighting was excellent and in great condition. The other wooden furniture besides the beds looked as if it had been dusted off, looking very clean and well-organized. The bathroom, especially the shower and toilet, are clean ready for the guests to use it. The floor in the main room are covered with brown tiles in various tones, while the tile flooring on the bathroom are in off-white color. The walk-in closet was large and spacious enough to store luggage bags and a coat rack to store clothes, with some drawers in the bottom to store other items and two sliding doors to open and close it. And lastly, the balcony can be accessed by a sliding glass door, complete with outdoor furniture made from wicker. All of these make the room a cozy, yet comfortable place to stay.

"Wow, this looks so comfortable," Rico commented in positive excitement.

Isaiah then ran inside and enthusiastically jumped on one of the beds and lay down in great comfort. Jonathan then went inside as well, slide the closet door open, and put the group's belongings in the bottom of the coat rack.
